This number keeps sening spam text messages to my phone

I have attempted to stop these calls to no avail.  Mine show a website listed as www.LENDS.com  I am going to ping this address with the following command every time they send the txt again.  C:>ping -t www.lends.com  I recommend each of you do this if the txt is unsolicited and they do not stop.  If they continue to send messages after a request to stop and enough people do this they will get a denial of service attack for being bad spammers.

Text message comes to my cell.  It is never the same number ... but always from this area code (347) and from numbers in a similar range.  Always from some "get a loan" entity -- cash, financial freedom, easy loans, etc., etc.

I am also receiving SPAM texts from this number. I suggest anyone in the same situation log on to www.ucc.ftc.gov and file a complaint.

I have ATT and logged into the web page they suggested and made some changes... we'll see if it helps.

Didn't want to reply STOP since people are reporting that it doesn't work.  All replying seems to do is confirm to them that my number is correct.

I also got a message from (347) 981-2311 with this message:
With instant online approval - You can get your cash within 24 hours! Visit www.FUNDS11.com (--2end reply STOP--)

Sure would like to know who this company is because  SMS spam is illegal and we can sue them in small claims court for $500 an infraction.  I could really use $1000 about now.
