I'm receiving emails from ATTORNEY ERIC SMITH...he gave me the phone number: 3522002691 and told me to call him.  He has some of my personal information, but I'm pretty positive he's a fraud.  I don't recall ever taking a loan from TJF Corp/Bahamas Marketing Group and he's threatening to file a case in court against me.

I've asked him to supply me with his State Bar # and his law office/firm name, but he ignores...

I'm glad to know this is truly a scam and I'm happy I used my better judgment in dealing with this clown!

I have recently been a victim of Jerry Smith also. He has been sending me all types of emails at my job and calling my cell phone. At first I believed him until he sent me the documentation that he had and the document had all kinds of misspelled words and broken english. I almost fell for this scam. If anyone has any information on  how I can report him please let me know . Thanks

I have just received a email from this guy saying that he hasn't heard from me in a few months and that I havent made a payment on my account and that as of yesterday he was sending my information to the court house and that the cops where going to arrest me within a few days and that I would have to pay 1000 dollars and that he was also forwarding my information to the fbi and that my credit report and ss number and bank accounts would be blocked.....It is scary cause he does have information about me..... Does anyone Know who to contact about this......

I got calls at my  place of employment several times and he said he was and officer when and his name was john smith when I ask if I can call him back he gave me a different number and when I called back after work it went to a voice mail for a Magic Jack.Now Im getting emails from the same people in regards to the same thing but from an attorney Patrick Brown and it gives this number I have already reported them to the california attorney general office. Please do the same.

First, thank you for posting your scams from this character Jerry Smith.  This helps so many people!  As the previous people mentioned, my fiance received this letter and immediately we both were suspicious as not only the Florida letterhead was incorrect, the content of the letter was loaded with grammatical errors, and it is threatening.  I called the phone number provided but his voice mailbox was full.  After only a minute, my cell phone rang and it was the number I just called.  I immediately asked, who is this and received no answer.  I then baited him by asking, "Is this Jerry Smith?"  and he answered 'yes.'  I asked where are you calling from and he said "Florida".  I used to work in an attorney's office so I started asking questions, very forcefully -- I asked for his attorney's license number, his office address and phone number.  If he were who he said he was, he would as forcefully answered me as I attacked him.  He DID not answer one question and was silent.  He only said, well you have the information.  I told him you don't even know who I am so how do you know what I have or don't have?  Then he hung up.  

The scary part is that this person has enough accurate info so this is a threat.  I will be sending this information forward about this character  to the police, to state attorney's office in Florida, plus my own state attorney's office.  Maybe, one day, he will be caught because we all did something about him.
