calls and doesnt leave a message, then calls again in a slightly different number.

calls few times a day but when i pick up they never say anything!

They called several times. Finally i picked up and they claimed to be a sweepstakes company. As they started asking for personal information i.e agei hung up the phone.

The calls come from "The Publishing Company" (according to their operators).  However the company is actually named "Nature Coast Publications".  They are an extremely shady operation and will outright lie to you about their promotion.  They will tell you you were selected as a Visa/MC holder, then ask you if you are a Visa/MC holder.  But it gets better.  Then they tell you that you won $1000 and that to get it you only have to pay a "small shipping and handling fee".  That fee is $3.36 a week -- for the next 60 months -- during which time they will also send you subscriptions for three magazines of your choice.  That price obviously exceeds the price of magazine subscriptions considering *every* magazine offers subscriptions at far below the cover price. If you tell them you're interested, they will *always* say your order number is 1221. Then you'll get a call back from (352) 200 4760 and they will ask for your credit card number.  I cannot stress how important it is that you not give them any information about yourself or your credit card.  If they call you, let them tell you all about the promotion so you can hear for yourself how sketchy it is.  The operators I commonly have heard are "Amanda", "Antoine", "Ruby", "Penny", and others.  Sometimes if you ask for their name, they'll just hang up on you.  Cut them off at the pass and just hang up on them if they call.

i spoke like a sailor to the poor girl, and almost made her cry.  i told her i have reported these numbers to the FBI, and i know they are a scam.  she was absolutely speechless.  

somebody DOES need to get this taken care of...who can you report people like this too?

They called and said I had won a 1000 dollar gift certificate.  After about 5 minutes of the sales woman talking to me she recollected what she had told me.  I had won the gift certificate and a bunch of free magazines.  Then about 20 minutes later a private number called and he said he was Barbara's (the sales woman) supervisor.  He asked if my call with her was good.  Then he explained the magazine deal and how it would cost 16 dollars a month...when she told me it was all free because I had been pre-approved.  He then wanted my credit card information.  I didn't give it to him.  I asked him if it was a joke.  He then asked me very disrespectfully if I was a joke.  I then went off on him for calling me late and calling me names and trying to scam me.  DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!  DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.  JUST DON'T ANSWER!!!!!!  They seemed like telemarketers but I am not sure.

Calls and never leaves a message on answering machine. Tried the Reverse Lookp and all I get is unknown, but is listed somewhere in Florida. I would also like to know who this is and stop the calling as it is anoying. Someone needs to take care of this.

I started getting them once a day beginning in Dec.  I just got two more today 1/30/2008.  Can anyone stop this?

352-200-4799 has call my cell phone number like 3 times today. I did not call back.

This number is part of a group I call the "Brooksville Scammers" - I wrote about them and how I (hopefully permanently) stopped their calls on the page for (352) 200-4763.

What is this? I've got a call from this number and many numbers like it today.

I have also been recieving phone call from those numbers. They call about 4 to 5 times a day since yesterday. How annoying. I don't bother to answer. I would really like to know who it is and how they got my number.

I did not answer a call from 352-200-4799. Later I called back and it was either a fax or modem.
