This is a recorded message regarding my "credit card." There is no identifying message as to which card (if one has more than one) might be the subject of the call. "She" tells you that nothing's wrong but tries to get you to "Press 9" to get help. I simply hung up. Other folks have told me that this same number can connect you to a woman. She apparently is trying to convince the phone contact to take out *their* credit card...or something.

I've gottne this call before. A recording comes on and says my eligibility to reduce my credit card rate is almost over!!! No ID of the company given, a dead giveaway for scam calls. My caller ID says it came from Florida.
I report these to the Fed. govt. as they are illegal.
I pressed "9" and got a real person, to whom I said, "Hey, Michael! You are breaking the law and I'm going to report you!" Then I hung up.

I pressed Zero a few times until an Indian man answered. I tried to tell him I wanted to be removed from the calling list but before I could get 3 words in he hung up!

CID said Florida
Same credit card interest reduction scam.
Pressed 9 and asked to be removed.
The woman repeated my number and said it would be removed.

I just received a call from this number and I am on the do not call list. It is a generic message about a credit card -- but doesn't mention a specific bank -- tells you that it about a way to reduce your rate. I consider this spam since they are not abiding by the do not call list as well as are misleading in their opening paragraph. I immediately hung up.

Alissa from this number picked up when I pushed 9 and said "please take me off this list!" She went on about how this was a random # and then she told me to f___ myself and hung up.
Can anyone help me identify this company so I can see that action is taken?

recorded message. rec'd same message before from other numbers. says "this is rachel at cardholder services. there are currently no issues with your credit card but we are calling with an offer to lower your interest rate as low as 6.9% blah blah blah" and says to press 9 to be connected.
I just hang up. I've pressed 9 before and asked what company they're affiliated with, what credit card they're calling about, how they got my phone number, etc. They don't even answer me. They just hang up. I've been told its a scam, where they get you to put out your personal information and then they use it...
NO THANKS!!

Yep, got the same telemarketing/credit card scam call, while being on the do-not-call list. Report 'em.
| Dwayne 2011-06-06 20:46:42 Unknown |
This is a Credit card service center. It is the company that makes credit cards for all the credit card companies.
We need to get a class action lawsuit against them, and sue the hell out of them.

It is a message about a credit card -- but doesn't mention a specific bank -- tells you that its about a way to reduce your rate. When the lady came on the line, I asked what bank she was with. She said The one you have your credit card with. I said and which bank is that. She hung up. I called my card company and was told they do not reduce rates over the phone. This is someone trying to get your card numbers. Hang up on them

I received a robo call from 352-225-2660 saying I needed to contact them urgently regarding my credit card. I pressed "9" as directed and the call was answered by a customer service rep. When I told him I did not wish to receive these calls, he hung up. I have been registered on Kentucky's "do not call" list for more than 2 years.

Recorded message. I hit "0" until a human picked up. I said, "Do not call list!", she said (in a whiney voice) "I don't care!" and hung up. The conversation was short and sweet. Nice.

recording rachael from cardholder services stating there is no problem with my credit card but press "9" to see about lowering rates, offer is to expire soon - I hung up and did a search and found this site, glad these sites are up so people can find out if it was a wrong number or just plain harrassment to those of us that are on the do not call list

It's interesting that these auto-dialer scammers are now using wireless phones. "Rachel from Card Services" desperately needed to speak to us Monday about a special offer for our credit cards. Since we don't have any credit card debt, just for kicks I opted to speak to a live person, who didn't speak English very well & hung up on me when I said we were on the Do Not Call registry and to remove my number.
What a surprise: autodialer "Rachel from Card Serices" just called again. So much for taking us off their stupid call list.

This sounds like it's a scam. Don't give out any personal information. They might want to steal your identity or money.

It said "WIRELESS CALL". Weird.

Same as others. Tried to get credit card info under the guise of representing Visa/MasterCard charge services. Fishing for credit card numbers. Believe it's fraud or attempt at "Identity Theft".

When I got home my caller ID had a listing from this number. I actually called the number and it
went to a voice mailbox and then told me the subscriber was not available.
Thank goodness I read all these posts. I will not answer from this number and will try to figure out
how to forward to the "Do Not Call Registry" number.

Just got a call from these folks. Press 9 to speak to a rep, so I did.
First I asked what company he represented, he said Card Member Services. Who do they represent I tried to ask, but right away he started talking over me, you could tell this was going to be nasty. He just started reading from the script. So I told him to stop and listen to what I have to say. Again I asked what company he was representing, he went into the script again. I told him to stop again. He told me not to tell him to stop, then started talking over me. I told him to put me on his do not call list, he outright refused: I will not put you on my do not call list, I don't have one!
Yeah right.
So I yelled at him as loud as i could. (Felt good!) Then I hung up and forwarded all calls from that number to the National Do Not Call Registry at 888-382-1222. Works every time!
Interesting, on caller ID this call was identified as from a cell phone. Odd.

Received the same message many times. I told them that I will report the scam, my number is on the not call list; they still call me. Crazy people.

I got an incoming call from this number to "reduce my interest rate on my existing accounts" from a fast talking black guy who said his name was Jason Higgins. All he said was he was from "card holder services". Why I asked him from what company he was representing, he abuptly hung up!!! This is a major SCAM!!!!!
