Pricks have called 5 times today. no v-mail etc. guessed it was probably SM.

I have been trying to figure out who this is as well as everyone else.  I get call about 5 times a day.  If it is Sally Mae they are hideously unhelpful.  I have been laid off 4 times since Feb 2009 and told them I could not make my payment and that I am about to loose where I live and the car I have to get to and from any Job I can find.  They just took a $158.00 payment and said it will only catch up 3 of my 4 private loans.  I am so tired of not getting any assistance from them.  I am tempted to let this go further because if I have no income, nor a place to live. How are they going to collect. I have tried to be upfront and get some help but they are worthless.  I have tried numberous times to call the number back and it said mail box is full.  The number also will not leave a message and I refuse to pick up a call if I do not know who it is.

I totally agree with Sara, they are predators and have not intention to help someone who is not able to make payments.

This number has called me a few times today as well. I don't know who it is, but on my VM all they did was breathe into the phone and then whispered "get out of here"...no idea. When I do a reverse look up it says its a cell phone with Verizon...if it is Sallie Mae why are they alling from a cell phone? When I call back, it doesn't ring and goes straight to a voicemail that says "mail box is full"

Call my cell phone and then tell me to hold for a rep!  If they want to talk to me they can have a person call me, not a machine

I'm now receiving calls from 352.262.6657 and of course but not surprising its Sallie Mae.  This is the 3rd number from them plus an actual number that says, 'Sallie Mae' on the caller id.  Isn't this illegal in some way???  They're predators and like Lenay28 said, "Sallie Mae, we're ALL in a recession!!!"

I'm assuming it was Sallie Mae because I heard it in the background. they also don't know how to leave voicemails or constantly sit there asking for you when they are on voicemail
