They keep calling, but leave no message. Reading the messages above this is a Medicaid survey. I am not on Medicaid so there must be something else to this illegal survey.
Thanks for helping to keep us informed.
Call then back - let them know the f-e-d-s are looking into this crap as they refuse to remove people's numbers.
i said it a secure facility and they havent called back
You All Annoy Me
This number is a legitimate survey and research center. They collect important data on various topics that is used to IMPROVE programs that you all take for granted. This is an opportunity to have your opinions (however moronic they may be) heard. No one wants to steal your information, or sell your phone number. They're just trying to improve the Florida that YOU inhabit. It's exactly this type of self-centered apathy that is destroying the world.
Stop complaining that they call too much when you wont even answer the phone the first time! How else are they supposed to know what time to reach you besides experimenting with different times of day if you don't give any feedback.
I find it shocking that so many people are "too busy" to take less than 10 minutes out of their day to answer a few questions about the state they live in. This shock is near sickening when I realize that these are the same people who probably complain non-stop about these programs and the state of the economy, but are unwilling to do something as simple as a survey. I don't know what world you grew up in, but in the real world nothing changes without some action on the part of citizens.
Original caller left a message to call back to take a survey about smoking. The next 2 times the caller hung up when my answering machine started.
Odd thing is the caller id showed UNIVERSITY OF F the first 3 calls from this number. Now it shows UNIV OF FL from the same number.
I have a call blocker and blocked this number after the third call.
UF should be closed
these morons call 1-2 times a day, now including saturday - this is now being considered HARASSMENT.
ANY COLLEGE THAT USES TELEMARKET NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN
they call every day @ 7:30pm = annoying
These people said they were conducting a survey for the Department of Health. I did not believe them. They also called on my cell which is listed for Do Not call. Maybe they will get a fine?
Please stop calling me. So unnecessary and unwanted. Told them no once already and they continue to call.
If u have medicaid they are calling for a survey about medicaid
If u have medicaid tgey are calling for a survey about medicaid
please stop calling my number each time you call me it cost me this is for emergency use only
Tom In NW Florida
Called and left no message on my answering machine. I added the area code/phone number to my blocked caller list.
Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker. Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-) I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities. After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use. The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.
Four unanswered calls from this number to my cell phone is the past 3 days...calls at all times of the day and Saturday. No messages left. I pay for my cell minutes and have never used medicaid, transportation or any of the program mentioned previously. No idea where they could have even gotten the cell number because I only give it out to friends never to businesses or goverment. If it was legitimate survey, they should leave a message with details about calling them back. Another waste of tax payer money from both ends. They should call the people who get the free cell phones and use their minutes if they "have to" call someone.
stop colling me
This is the University of Florida and they are doing surveys on people that have state, and or federal subsidized insurance programs such as SSI,SSD,SSA,Mediacaid< Medicare, and the like. The survey is supposed to be voluntary but they do call all the time. Unless you have received a notice from your insurance provider I would suggest to answer and tell them to quit calling. It worked for me for about 4 months until my daughter was reviewed and assigned new health care under SSI.
Just called and said they were from the Florida Department of Health and wanted me to take a survey and answer health questions. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do, give out personal info on an incoming call. So, I asked if I could call them back and he said, "SURE!" at 1-888-536-2434. They are open 9-9 m-f and 9-3 Sat. That's when I knew this was definitely not from a Govt agency. weekends? lol.
I keep getting a call from (352) 392-2908. It is rather annoying. I get voicemails for that number saying (in a very scratchy, distorted voice) "Amazing grace, ohh how sweet your mama's (cannot understand) is. Goodbye (insert my first and last name)." Idk how they know my name.
Regardless of how many times you post this statement on this thread, the truth is that your canvassers are rude and irritating. If your goal is survey research then your methods should reflect an interest in actually accomplishing your goals-getting people to answer your questions. Try being polite.
My caller (UF, survey, etc. same as others) asked for a specific person by name. Name was wrong and they said, "we'll take your number off the list" quickly and rudely, and hung up.
They are calling to survey about Healthy Kids Ins.
stop calling strangers
Yes, the law is very poorly written. In a just world, you and your filthy job wouldn't even exist. Fact is, nobody has to answer when you call, no one has to respond to your questions, and no one is obligated to be the least bit polite for you professional privacy invaders under any circumstances whatsoever. If you don't like, get a real job that doesn't involve calling strangers.
Vermin is all you are, filthy privacy invading vermin.
And that is "for your information."
Actually, the University of Florida's Bureau of Economic and Business Research is totally NON-PROFIT. Check your facts!
For your information, the National Do Not Call Registry does not apply to charities, potitical organizations or legitimate survey researchers. The University Survey Research Center conducts telephone surveys on behalf of Medicaid, the Florida Department of Health, Florida Dept of Transportation, UF College of Dentistry, etc. They are a completely legitimate survey research center so this is no violation of the Do Not Call list in any way. Check your facts before you make claims!
Your spelling is atrocious. Grammar is unacceptable. I have difficulty taking your facts seriously if you cannot present yourself responsibly.
How about just telling them that? They will stop calling.
This number called me asking for my daughter and said he was from UF, I was half asleep when he called so I hung up. I don't why they are calling for my daughter she is only a 10 month old baby!!!!!! They need to stop calling my phone I do not wish to participate in a survey! I want to know how they got my number I am not happy at all my daughter is just a baby!
No they are a public nuisance.
This division of the U of Florida is a for-profit business. Your goal is irrelevant. People do not want to be called at home. Just because you're doing a survey doesn't give you carte blanche to invade people's privacy. Your self-righteous indignation is tantamount to insisting on our participation in your business. We do NOT wish to participate. If we want to give our opinion, we'll call you. Do not patronize us by telling us how you're helping us; you are not. We wish to be left alone. STOP calling us.
