After getting a number of these calls, I played along and talked with several people. They claim the name of the company is "Card Services" and they can get your credit card interest rates reduced. They want you to give them the credit card number for the card on which you are paying the highest interest rate. I kept refusing to give them the number and asking questions, so they bounced me the person "who just gets your info" to the "financial" person, and finally to a "supervisor" who told me that he could offer me a new card from Citibank or GM for 12-21 months with 0% interest that would pay off the higher rate card, and that if payments were made on time, the 0% would continue indefinately. Upon further questioning, he admitted that there would, of course, be a 3-4% transfer fee, and he assured me that I couldn't negotiate with the credit card companies myself. When I continued to question him, I was "disconnected". So, that is the deal, real or bogus, but definately unprofessional and best avoided. I'm sure these calls come many different numbers, but probably all in Florida, and the message is that they can reduce your interest rates today, but this is your last opportunity. If you're bored some day when they call, jack them around for awhile. They can't make any money off of somebody else when they are wasting their time with you. Then report them to your state attorney general's office.

Only answered because I have family in bad finances in this are code.
They had a recorded message a few seconds after I said hello.
They tried the fear/uncertainty/doubt injection with mentioning something about credit card services and stating, in a stern, shaking-a-pointing-finger-at-you tone, "this is your second and final notice" but then immediately follow it with "to lower your credit card debt" or "monthly payments" or "interest rate"... I don't remember which exactly. But it was obviously a trick/deception/trap to get you to agree to let them handle your finances or give them your card numbers or something. I hung up 10 or 15 seconds in so I don't know their end goal.

kinda funny taht my isp in az was qwest. the got sold to century link and now i get this scam phone call from a number whose carrier is centurylink. sounds like bs too me.

Yep another number calling and not leaving a message. I'm glad I finally figured out how to block individual numbers on my digital phone. So far 6 numbers blocked. Sure has been quiet today.

If you get past the recorded message about saving your life through credit restructuring, you are rudely hung up on, or told to "go to hell" then hung up on when asking to be removed.

Yep got a call also, left voice mail. While the message was a recording, it was definitely something to do with credit. Don't know if it was for a card or about refi on mortgage. Don't care enough to find out - LOL

This is a credit card scam. Somehow my cell number got on some kind of telemarketing list. I got calls from different numbers with the same recording message within minutes from each other.

I have no idea who this is, but they call periodically.

This appears to be a credit card scam. They called me and it was silent until I said hello a couple of times. Then they said there were Cardholder Services and wanted my credit card numbers. It sounded like a scam to get you to give your credit card numbers and the charge illegally to your credit card.
