Decided to check my balance on my card and realized a company by the name of Miss B Haven Day Care Center tried to charge my card for $41.71.......luckily it's only a prepaid card so I only add money to it right before I use it or I would have been out almost $42....I called the number on my card to find out where it was coming from and he told me it was listed as a Vermont zip code 05255..........guess it's time to get a new card anyway, just in case......

Same with us!  I just called the bank and it's being handled by the fraud department.

I have had this happen 4 times now with 3 seperate cards.  2 of which I only pay bills.  Just wondering if you are a century link customer.  If so, I would stop saving your card info and pay by check.  Let me know if you are, I am 99.9% positive this is where they are stealling the info from.

I had a charge of $20 dollars and they waited to the day that i got paid, i bet they thought i would not notice. After reading this forum i decided to just stop my card and switch card numbers. I went to the bank and a rep told me that the charge was made through the debit card number so switching debit card numbers was completely safe they would not be able to access my bank account no more. although, i hate the fact that i gotta go through a hassle to switch my direct deposit info for a couple of memberships and college payments that i do. Chase gave me a number to call if the pending transaction does go through to file a complaint and try to get my money back. _______ here it is 866-564-2262 only file a claim if you are a member of chase bank and if the transaction already went through. (meaning its not PENDING) when a transaction is pending it can always fall off and not go through since there is a chance it could of been a mistake by someone in the world.

10 dollars charge on my card to.plus other stuff ... cancel card now.and call bank for new one. and the bank will ck these charges out .and u may get your money back.

This is crazy how can people get your numbers from your card in another state?
I called my bank and they blocked and cancelled my card right away.

The weird - I almost does not use debit card
only in Costco (last year), Regularly Paypal, Pay utility bills (but only via Chase), Google Voice. Besides this I used only 2 times debit card online during this year: at www.apteka101.com and http://www.labirint.ru/ These are Russian sites. But I am Russian too, so dont be surprised about that. I hope these two sites are fair guys. So dont consider my post as a "bad review".

ok this is the forth time this has happened to me fishing line my a** call FBI the company according to what i figured is really out of Mich. I had a charge on my account today for $9.70 from SportNetZone.IN, this isn't the first time it is the 4th time.

No phone call that I'm aware of from that number, though I do remember hanging up on a survey call a couple of days before I found a $9.40 charge on my VISA from 4/1/12.  The VISA shows the charge is from Sport Net Zone at the above number.  Only purchases on that date were breakfast at Waffle House and Walmart.  This is not the first time this has happened, but first time with this company.  Last time it was my Debit card.  Thank goodness I check my cards regularly now.

Charged me 10.20, same deal with fishing lures and an address I haven't lived at in two years!

hello, i just found a charge in my account for OMGpix of $4.50..idk what that is and i never chrged it..i recall getting a phone call on thursday from fl with a 954 area code..can anyone tell me what OMGPIX is ?? im cancelling card ASAP

i dont use my card online to make purchases, i pay bills ONLY. these people took $10.40 out of my account the other day. i just noticed this morning and im going today to cancel my whole account. this seems to happen too often for me

Hs anyone here have this happen to them shortly after using their debit card at a doctor's office? I very rarely use my card at all but had to at a recent visit to a new "walk-in" doctors office.

I was charged $10.30 for "fish hooks"! I don't fish! When I called this company yo dispu the charge, the woman was barely understandable! I was told the purchase was canceled and I'd see it removed within 2-3past days. I went straight to the bank and canceled my card after She was unable to provide the info I wanted on how this came about and when she said, and I quote, "you go to banks and cancel card"! Seriously? ? You steal from me and I deal with the hassle of changing everything to keep you from stealing from me again?? Wow. Now I just have to wait to see if the charges post before my bank can act.

I too had a charge of 8.70 on my credit card on 3/15 from Phone # 352-502-4721.  I am damn mad.  now I have to cancel my card and start over.  I can't believe our human race and the terriable thing that go on.

Same thing happended to me. I use online billpay with Century link as some others do. Luckily Bank of America caught it and froze my card before I even knew what was going on. One time I can actually say I'm happy to be with Bank of America

There has to be a common denominator with all of us, not sure what it is, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me, different company but seeling exact same things. I am really starting to believe it is with my bill pay. Verizon, Century link, State Farm, just wondering what we may all have in common.

I see no common link between all of the victims of this scam.  Debit cards from many states, various credit cards from many different companies.  All have been the victim of this scam.  Somehow we ended up on a list of credit cards/debit cards and the list was sold to a group who is trying to defraud us.  All out of Russia but with a connection to Florida.  The city Rybinsk is about 150 miles north of Moscow.  But why can't some police agency in the United States look into this and shut down the Florida connection?  Why do they let these thieves continue to operate?

That's what I want to know...How in the world are they getting our info? I hope people are looking for these thieves!!!

No call...just paying bills and checking my bank account and saw a pending charge from sportnetzone for $10.20. I called my bank and they immediately canceled my debit card and said that I can't file a claim until it goes through. I never use my card for online purchases, but I did 2 days ago to pay for my sons ACT testing. I guess there really is no safe site.

This morning a fraudulent charge of $3.44 was charged to my credit card for an on-line purchase at Miss B Haven Daycare Center (company is listed as being in Iowa).  My credit card company (Chase) called me to verify the charge and I declined it.  However, I did not give any information to the person that called me.  I called Chase at the 800 number on the back of the credit card to verify that a Chase employee had called me and confirmed the information (if was Chase that had called).  Chase did say this was most likely a test transaction and if the card number wasn't cancelled that larger charges were likely.  This is the second time in the last few months that my card number has been stolen and I've had to have a new number issued.  Don't know how the thieves are getting my info.  Very frustrating and time consuming.

I didn't get any phonecall, just searching for the people behind this cause I got an unauthorized charge on my debit card from them.

So glad I researched. I just found a charge of $9.40 that I did not recognize from Sport Net Zone.IN Ocala, FL. Also, found a pending one for $4.50 for OMGPIX.com this weekend. Just called my bank and cancelled my debit card. Looking for one of the anti-skimming wallets.

i received a call from this number and now this place has put a unauthorized charge on my credit card.
