This is the advance-fee-for-a-loan scam as described here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel16.shtm which states "It is illegal for companies doing business in the U.S. by phone to promise you a loan and ask you to pay for it before they deliver."

They called me and it sounded legit at first. Said I needed to pay a 330$ security to receive the money in case you don't make then1st payment. Some credit card companies do this if your credit isn't the best, which many of my friends dont and I was only doing this for my gf. So I sent the money and now they are saying I have to send 450$ for the activation to get my money. Yup sounds like a scam to me and im the dumb one for sending the 330. Lesson learned.

I was trying to help out my mother and get a little extra funds for her. After I sent them money fir assurance I grt called back and told I have to pay another $520.00 to do a secure line payment. I cancelled it the same day. When I didn't receive my money in what I thought to be a timely fashion I called back. Not only had they not cancelled my loan they wanted to chare me a $375 cancellation fee. They need to be stopper and reported. And any money stolen should be returned to their rightful owners.

I received phone calls from thursday and from prior calls that I deleted as I don't respond to blocked numbers.  Just yesterday I decided to answer the call and the guy had a heavy middle eastern accent that sounded muffled on the phone who talked really fast.  He then told me to call back tomorrow to 352-587-5739 and he gave me an "approval code" which is 2 letters and 3 numbers(i.e. gh123).  I called the 352-587-5739 and spoke with a guy named Ray.  In the back ground all I could hear was middle eastern accents.  Ray the guy who I spoke with had a heavy middle eastern accent gave me the western union instructions.  I told him that the guy who I spoke with yesterday said that my funds would be deposited in my checking account after i call and speak with the at 352-587-5739 .  So Ray told me that I would have to send $$$ by western union to get the $2500.   NOTE: IF THIS WAS A LEGITIMATE COMPANY YOU WOULD NOT HAVE TO GIVE THEM A DIME!!!   PLEASE DON'T SEND THEM MONEY!!!  After researching this company's phone # and  posts on the internet THIS IS A SCAMMMM!!!! I know these people are open on Saturdays from
10am to 7pm (ET) --

9am to  6pm (CT)
8am to 5pm (MT)
and for Hawai'i  and Alaska 5am to 2pm

I told ray that is this some kind of scam  ofcourse he said in an annoyed voice, no and asked if i wanted to cancel my application.  I made a second call to the same number and told him to cancel!!!

these people said i was approve for a loan for 1,000 -5,000 i was told to give my info and to send money them money then they would send it to me u cant aven look them up on line i dont know how they got my number and they call all day with differnt people same company womens and men its the same people please dont let them get u they will call all day from block numbers its SCAM SCAM SCAM THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED ASAP CAN SOME BODY DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i got a call from the same number, claiming i was approved for 5000 loan, said they were consumer payday loans and I looked it up while on the phone, they clearly were not. the site says loans up to 1500. i called the number provided just to see what they were going to tell me. I asked to speak with  the manager and he told me i could only speak to him. that if i wanted the money i would have to send 300 via western union. scam!!!! be careful confirming you info people, there are sharks out there

Just yeasterday I was scammed by this consumer pay day loan if 352-5875439 calls you hand up they just stole $400 from me for supposedly being approved for $5000

I received a call from 714 394 5416 saying I was approved for up to 5000, the first gentleman Samuel with Consumer Loans said my payment for 3000 would be 330 for ten months. OK, cost me 300 for borrowing 3000. Then sent me to another number, 352-587-5739 to a loan manager named Max Williams who said I could have 5000 for 367 for 10 months. I only had to go to Western Union and pay the payment insurance of 367 so the company would have insurance if I was not able to repay the loan and I would receive 5000. I told him I would call back. This is awful. I was looking for a legitimate company, not someone to scam me at Christmas. Grrrrr!

I got a call from a private number, they said that I was approved for a loan between $1000 and & $5000. When I asked why they wanted inforation from me they gave me this number to call and it just kept on ringing.

A guy call said  he was a payday loan and try get my information from me I give false information I knew he was a scam.

I have gone through the same thing. They have scammed me of all money. Does anyone know what I can do

I got a phone call from an unavailable number and they gave me the 352-587-5739 to call to give them an approval code number, but the phone just rang and rang.

I got a call from Ronnie @3525875739.-He said I was approved for a $1000 but I gotta go to western union and send him $183 and he will send it back to me plus the $1000. He is from consumer payday loan. Is this a scam?

THIS IS A PAYDAY SCAM, SAY THEY ARE WITH CONSUMER PAYDAY LOANS AND THAT YOUR APPROED FOR A LOAN UP TO $5000.  THEY VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION AND THEN SAY THAT YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR FUNDS THREW WESTERN UNION.  WHEN THEY SAID THIS I REALIZED IT WAS A SCAM AND HUNG UP.
