This call was from Saint Leo University because I filled out an online request form for information. If you don't want an online degree, they can take you off of their list if you give them your phone number. Very friendly.

My wife is currently an online enrolled student with St. Leo University.  The number called, hung up when I picked up.  Why?  Who knows.

they continue to call me, one very early in the morning (3-4am). i never requested any information with online classes. i do not put my number down for information of this sort. very annoying

just so you know...you can tell them to take your name off the list...but your number will get recycled to a diffrent advisor.  Because you requested the information, they do not have to remove your name...they can call you until the cows come home.  Yes this is true....we are drilled on this almost daily....we are told to never ever delete a number from the data base.....So....the lesson here is to never use your real phone number when looking into an online school....we will keep calling you.....no matter what you say....and there is nothing you can do about it...I don't agree with with policy....but I wanted everyone to know what we do here at Saint Leo.....

How does one block these unwanted calls to the home phone and the cell phone as well?

I called them and they said they would remove me from their list.  They were not sure how they got my number but I know I do not use my cell phone for any registering on websites.

If you call the number back, it will take you to an enrollment counselor at Saint Leo University for the online program. If you aren't interested in a degree program online or aren't a student there, you can ask them to take your number off of the list and the system won't call you anymore. Just make sure you give them the number that you got the call on! I'm unsure why the program hangs up... maybe it's just doing a certain amount of rings then disconnects?

The person I finally got in touch with couldn't explain why the hangups but the number is for Saint Leo University they have recently dropped their former online course partner, University Alliance, and are trying to contact students and persons who have expressed an interest in enrolling in their online courses, Its possible their database contains numbers that are no longer for someone they were in contact with. I am currently a student in their online courses which is why they tried my number.

These calls are coming mid day and on weekends.  What group is this? We owe no one so can't understand the hang ups and continued calls.
