Said you can get a better rate on your credit card. Asked to dial 1 to speak to a rep. I hung up- no details were given as to which credit card or even to which card holder.

This number is still being used. Just got a call today from them asking if we wanted to lower our credit card interest rate. I just hung up. I believe they have called before. Any more and I will report them to the FCC. I also did a google lookup on the phone number and got Luis A Caraballo   (352) 680-9688   15 Emerald Crse,  Ocala, FL 34472. But the fact that the number is listed makes me doubt that these people are making the calls. Most telemarketers use 800/866 type numbers.

This is a scam to get you to give them your credit card information so they can steal from you.  Hang up and report them to the state attorney general.

Got a call from this number.  I answered to give them a piece of my mind, no one was there.

Look up "Caller ID spoofing scam victim" on google and see how this is done and what congress is doing about it.

352-680-9688 is an old number of an elderly couple. If you google it or people search it, you get a name (Luis....) and an old address in Ocala, FL. Someone is using this old number for a scam. The couple got a few calls at their new number from people warning and/or threatning to "nail them". There seems to be a way to make a call and use someone else's caller id. A post at another similar websites states that there is a way to do this. Any other ideas welcomed, thanks.

Just received a call from this number as well. I have no idea what they were about. I could not catch the call in time. I am on the national Do Not Call list as well.  Beware of 352-680-9688. It seems they are bad news.

My 90 year old mother got a call from the 352-680-9688 number yesterday.  And the message said a $3,000 charge had been put on her credit card.  And to punch #1 to get more info.  So like the poor uninformed person she was, she punched it.  The lady said, "You sound worried", and hung up.
Do you know for SURE the name you got from that website was correct?  I read on a consumer.org site that some of the info. you get from some sites is just plain incorrect.  So now we're going through the costs of having long distance calling blocked from other countries.  Sick, sick!

I just got a call from this number, but when I answered it, no one said anything.  I said hello 3 times, then hung up.  I've got a brother stationed in FL, so I got online to see if this was a new number or something, and stumbled along this site. very cool btw!

Got a call from this number on my cell phone today, but missed it. Since I have family in that area, I thought it was a new cell # or something. When I got home and looked it up, I saw all of this!

I have been getting calls from this number for a month now.  Finally picked up and selected #1.  Got the same spiel everyone else here has, they wanted to know if I was carrying a balance greater than $3,000.00.  They asked for my 16 digit credit card number and the last four digits of my Social Security number.  I did not bite, but they gave me a customer service number (800) 732-9194 turns out to be a national number for Bank of America (14) locations.  I have been signed up with the do not call list for years.  These people need to be rounded up and thrown in the poky.

Received call from 352-680-9688, ID said Nadine Council.  Recorded message said they could lower interest rates on my credit.  I pressed 1 to speak with a rep.  When I pressed for details of where they got my phone number she completely side-stepped the issue.  When I told her to remove me from the calling list she hung up before I even finished my sentence.  BE CAREFUL what info you give out.

Message left on answering machine that stated to phone Jonathan about lowering the rate on a credit card. The answering machine listed the call as coming from a Nadine. I immediately knew that something was wrong about the call. No one from my credit company has ever phoned me or ever will.

I just got a call from them on caller ID.  It says "Nadine Council."  Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a voicemail.

call from this number sugessted that they can help with credit problems, please press 1 to speak with council, please press 2 to remove . This is the second time they have called. I am on do not call registry have reported to them as well.

I am on the national do not call list.  These folks are using an automated dialer which is illegal where I live.  I spoke to the agent, Rebecca who did not want to provide more information than to say that she was calling from Card Services.   I asked which company, she said "Card Services". Then went on to say "We represent 551 credit and banking services".

She gave me a bogus 800 number that rings at a country store.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC.

a recording came on when I answered the phone It said they were calling to update my credit card information I said to remove me from your list and hung up!

I got a recorded voice and then they ask me for the last 4 digits of my SS#. Total scam.

Recvd call from this number (352-680-9688) last night at DINNER TIME....when I pressed one "For my lower rate" I asked which of my credit card companies they were and they hung up.  I tried calling back, but number says it is disconnected.

When I ask what company these pieces of garbage are representing they hang up.  That leads me to believe they are criminals.  STAY AWAY!!!!  Report to the department of consumer protection in your state as, at the very least, they are violating telemarketing laws.

Got the same call yesterday but didn't answer. It left a pre recorded message on the machine about card servies. Caller ID says it's in Ocala, FL.

Answering machine says card services, That is Chase credit card for disney rewards, they say they are not calling,caller Id says out of area!

Telemarketers are Scum
Most telemarketers quit after 4 rings.
This one went on for ten rings.

No details as I did not answer the call..  Caller IDS showed Unknown Name on one phone and out-of-area on another.  The 352 area code is Gaineville Florida and I don't know anyone there.
