Attorneys typically scour these postings looking for any information that users post in order to file lawsuits for Unfair Debt Collection Practices against these companies that are harassing you, so if you could include more specific information, it would really make a huge difference.

Always ask this one question:

(1) "This is actually my friend's number; can I call you back in a minute from my own phone to make a payment?  What's your number?"

Because these people use a system that masks their real numbers with fake numbers, this question forces them to reveal their real number.  Do not give them your number!  Try to get a callback number so we can trace their actual location. The post the number here.

they have been calling off and on for a few months. start off saying I am being sued and need the number of my attorney  told them to go to hell and they got mad at me said they did not have . to put up with my swearing so I hung up and blocked the number. but they must have a ton on numbers because they keep using new numbers.  as of today this is the third time I will be arrested tomorrow   have not seen any one show up yet. so now when I know who is calling I just start swearing then hang up.  I sure hope no falls for this

I have been utterly harassed for 2 days by these ppl over 70 phone calls from different numbers all the same thing...I told them I am on  the national do not call list and he creepily added that he would call me and call me and keep calling me... I have the max amount of 25 numbers on my call block list and 33 more I can not add, that is how many different numbers they are using...and the person calling me claimed they were from USA Loans again with a very very thick Arabian accent...Also for any of you who have received these calls good fraud alert Transunion and DO it immediately!! Even though I have no spoken with these ppl, or given them any information, or filled anything out online somehow they have my Drivers license number my social security number my bank acct number and my banks routing number!!! Protect yourself and place an initial 90 day fraud alert on your credit report and also make your banks aware as well as social security!

OMG, the samething is going on with my cell phone. I had applied for a pdl about three years ago and now I am getting hit by at least twenty calls a day now from what sounds like the same scam team, it has brought me to tears almost. I just want it to stop.
I filed a complaint with the FCC and the DNC list. So tired of all this BS

keep on calling my  phone and they don't say any thing

I get many calls for the person who last had this number. Apparently Phillip Nelson applied for many pay day loans so is now a target for these companies. Unfortunately I now have his old number! I rarely answer these calls and just reject them and add the numbers to my reject list on my phone. That list must be a mile long by now!

I accidentally picked up the number 888-311-6369.

Now, I get numerous phone calls throughout the day from numbers I do not recognize.  They are:

For the past two days I have received over 18 calls and I am assuming they are from the same Indian scam team.   The last number called from was the 352777000 number. Constant calls from different numbers with non-US area codes. I use a free app called Mr. Number to block these.   Works on "private" or "unknown" numbers as well.

today I finally did answer one 404-845-7786 (Atlanta, GA) -saying he is an attorney - the cops are coming to my home to arrest me due to non payment of a loan (that I don't have):which I have called my local
police department and reported this- plus called the company they are using -American Cash Loans - they are aware of what is going on and said it is a complete SCAM::: their company is not calling people:

These people, even after I told them I am not the person they are looking for, will not stop callig me. I'm in tears atm. I had back surgery and these calls are waking me up. I can't turn off the ringer because my boyfriend, who's not here right now, calls at random times and I need him right now.

If I could get my hands on the A***OLES making these calls, I would beat the ever-loving S*** out of each and every one of them!

These A***OLES won't quit calling me, and when I answer the call to tell them to stop calling me, these A***OLES hang up in my face!

I have gotten calls from this number asking for someone that doesn't live here!

My wife is getting calls at least 30 times a day on her cell phone. Does anyone have any idea on how to stop these call's? I know it's a computer random call and if you answer a live person comes on.

unwanted number keeps calling my cell phone

Called me 17 times in a row asking if I wanted an auto loan. I finally grabbed a whistle and blew it into my phone. I'm on the do not call list and they won't stop calling my cell phone and I never applied for a car loan

Called stating that I applied for a loan for 1000 dollars and because I applied I was going to be arrested and the cops would be at my door, I told him how about you come to my door.  He stated he was a lawyer and that he was going to have me arrested for applying, I told him I am going to have you arrested for trying to speak English you b**tard.

got a recording stating that this number is not in service

They've called eight times just today and it's only noon! I sent to voicemail the first several times but when I pick up they hang up almost immediately and then call you right back again! What the f*** man that's harassment. I've been told not to answer, they could be trying to bill you for the call somehow, I don't f****ng know. It seems so pointless, if it was a scam why aren't they saying anything? But still, how do u get them to quit calling?

I filled a FORM IN FOR A PAYDAY LOAN now the calls keep coming.  I'm worried because I gave my info during the application process.
