I keep getting calls from this number on my cell but I don't answer.  I tried calling the number from a different phone and I get a recording to input the telephone number I want removed.  I did not enter a number.

i have been getting calls from this number about every day for a few days now.  i've seen other message boards, and it seems that a common thread is that it has something to do with your newspaper service.  i live in Austin, TX and it may be related to our newspaper service, other in flordia have reported the same.

I just got off the phone with 360-230-1610. It is a call center that is used by a number of different newspaper companies. When you call your local paper complaining of service issues this call center calls for follow up to insure your problem was taken care of.

I answered the number and it was a co out of WA calling for the Florida Times Union subscription.

Answered, voice message saying it was a confirmation (never said what for). Then it hung up.
Tried calling back, voice message repeated that I could remove my number. I did complain to Houston Chronicle on failed deliver yesterday.

Have answered twice and no one is ever on the line.

they just hang up every time i answer.   the caller does not even identify itself, it is stalking.   as a single parent with many bills i am worried it is something not taken care of.  i own multiple properties and with all the mortgage changes i worry its an unpaid mortgage issue.

I signed up for a free trial subscription to my local paper, the Minneapolis Star Tribune.  It was through a door-to-door fundraiser, some kids stopped by.  I suspect if this is a newspaper related number, they are calling to try and get me to subscribe perhaps?

I've gotten 5 calls from that number in the past week.  Some I pick up, and some I ignore.  When I do pick up, there's no one there.

Come to think of it, I signed up for the San Francisco Chronicle from some kid going door to door right about the same time I started getting these calls.

Have no clue who is calling my cell. I did subscribe recently to my local newspaper the Republican in Springfield, MA.  I also called the number back it plays a recording that if you want your number removed you must enter it and confirm it otherwise it will not be removed.

I decided to answer an incoming call from this number and it was some outfit checking on my subscription to Florida Times-Union.  The number is a new (1999) WA area code.

Called my cell phone this evening.  I picked it up after it had been ringing a while and got a broken, semi intelligible recording

Noted the same number had called my home phone this morning.  No message left.

same thing is happening to my wife's phone.  (360) 230-1610 this number has called about 4-5 times and has not left a message.  if we call it back, a computer answers and identifies itself as a vague 'customer service' dept.

I received a call yesterday, but didn't answer and they didn't leave a msg. Answered today and it was a rep from our local newspaper verifying that our paper had started. Don't know if she was actually an employee of the newdpaper or worked for a service that they employ.  Probably the latter.

Verifast Auto Verfication phone calls, multiple in last few weeks, no one is ever on the phone.

Have seen this on my caller ID for the past 4 days.  No message.  I answered this morning and it was a recording that sataed "Verification From 360-230-1610. Anyone have more info?

I called it back and punched in my phone number and it removed me.  Not rocket science.

Thanks for the info, I didn't get my paper monday, called to have it dropped again.  I have been getting calls from this number but dead air, so something is broke, but I am sure that is what it is, and a great service, just broke.

I finally received an automated voice mail from this #.  It was the local newspaper (Florida Times Union) confirming my recent subscription and leaving a number to call if there are any delivery problems.

They have called a few time within a week but do not leave a message.

they call twice a day for a week.  Its really annoying because there is nobody on the line.  I just ignore it now but wish I could block the number from my phone.  total a$$holes!
