They call my cell phone 3 to 4 times daily. just when I'm at work not to mention how much when I get home. and just like I've read exactly no one is on the phone. I'm over it. its so bad I'm thinking of changing my phone number. like others on this page I too have tried to contac t with no avail. funny thing is the only magazines I get are the catalog types. Victoria secret etc. Which would have nothing to do with a subscription. I am in Florida they are in Washington state. so that means with the time change my calls a re coming in very late at night. they are so annoying. if anyone figures out how to rid themselves of this problem other than changing your number. please post. it would be greatly appreciated. I'm on the useless 'DO NOT CALL LIST' and have been for a decade, also, I receive these calls on my home and cell phone numbers... I truly don't understand--I mean who pays these pests?   Will probably have my home cut off to get rid of these pests...

I want to THANK the owner of this web site and  everyone who posted about this number.  I never answer calls from outside of my area code.  Today my caller I.D. showed RDS SVC with the number.  I have received calls from the same area code '360' but the name of caller never showed on my caller I.D.

As a warning to magazine subscribers.  I noticed I was get renewal notices 6 months before the subscription expired.  When I realized this was happening I called the magazine company and found out I was paid up for the next 3 years because I was renewing (paying) every 6 months when they sent the renewal notice.  Always wait to re-new just before they expire.

They repeatedly call all day long.  I usually don't answer but ocassionally do and ask to speak to a supervisor.  They then promise to take my name off the list.  Never happens.  Now they're getting hostile.  Just had a call and when I answered they just laughed and hung up.  We're in our seventies, my husband is ill and needs his sleep whenever he can get it.  We're on DNC list which is absolutely useless.

When I call them back, they say it is an opt out number. But I have opted out 20 times already - and after a few days, they start calling back. They don't leave any messages.  Just tired of the calls.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Caller ID identifies the call as RDS Services.  Had no idea who it was, so I looked up the number. Figures... Scumbag from somewhere!  Quit calling me!!!

It's not that the FCC is not enforcing the ban; they haven't the staff to go after these callers.  Unfortunately telemarketers know this and have stepped up their calling.  My answering machine captured the number so I will register it with the FCC.  I suggest you do the same whenever you get a call.  It doesn't take that long and eventually it could make a difference.  We've all received calls from Rachel or Ashley calling about our credit cards and I read that the FCC has begun to take action against that company.

I've been getting calls from them for months. Sometimes it "about my Discover subscription" sometimes empty air, sometimes they ask for my last name but when I ask who is this they hang up. I' ve asked, then told, then demanded at different times to be removed from their list. I've told them I deal directly with publishers repeatedly. Now I just got calls several days in a row again. It mostly reads RDS Svcs on caller at the above phone number. I've even heard background small talk when I've answered but kept silent. How do I stop them?

Telemarketers... pure and simple.  I told them previously not to call, but they persist.  Added to callblock list.

They must call 4-5 times aand day-- and never leave a message I'm wanting to try blocking the number!!

Somewhere in every magazine is a note about these organizations. Short form: don't do business with them, do it with the subscription department of the magazine.

Checking to see if my Playboy subscription is arriving. I told her I'd never had a subscription. She said that perhaps someone had given me a subscription. I told her I'd never had a subscription and was getting 6-12 fraud calls a day. I pushed her into transferring me to her supervisor. A few clicks and the frauds hung up on me.

This number calls our home repeatably. At least once a week if not more.  I answer and there is never anybody there. You can hear the hang up.

Another hangup

Received a call from RDS SVC on my home phone which is registered with the Do No Call Register.  I answered the phone and it was obvious that the loser didn't hear me.  I continued to stay on the line and all I could hear is their fat a** breathing heavily to stay alive.  I answered again "Can I help you?" and they said no and hung up.

I received a call from this number and did not answer.  Thanks to comments from the above contributors my concience is clear.

Scam trying to sell/obtain credit card info for discover magazine. I am on Do Not Call list.  Suspect Fraud.  Others on internet report fraud from this number.  FCC needs to get engaged and investigate.  Do not call seems to be a joke.

A flurry of four calls within forty minutes with only heavy breathing as message.

Receive almost daily calls from this number. Will not answer as I don't know the number and they don't leave a message. Got to be spam crap. Am on the do not call list but that doesn't seem to be worth a damn.

I am angry that these people keep calling.  I have been on the DNC list.

They want to know if I'm receiving my Newsweek magazine.  Husband asked to be removed from list, she hung up.  DNC list is useless with false sense something will be done.  Telemarketers aren't bothered by the list or any threat.  Get an NBA regulation whistle.  They will get the point & stop calling for a while.  Worked for me on other callers, will try on these folks.  Doesn't permanently remove you from their list, but you get a break for a few weeks.

RDS SVC calls my number at least once every day.  When I do answer a surly beyotch justs asks for a family member by name without having the simple courtesy to ID herself and her flim-flam company.  When I ask who is calling, she mumbles a first name with a laugh to others at her big fat end!  She notes RDS Services but does not explain what RDS.  When asked what RDS is she has noted on one or two occassions that it is a "survey" company.  On the latest call she said she was calling about "August" magazine.  We have continuously told her to take our phone number off her calling list to no avail!!!  Last time I told her we would file a formal written complaint with our state Attorney General.  I do hope she and her sleazy company have a hot time in Hell!

Use caution with these creeps and give them absolutely no personal information on yourself or your address.  They are simply mining your info for fraudulent purposes like identity theft.

Caller asks for my husband by name. I say he's at work and they hang up.

They call and ask for my deceased husband. When I say no one lives here by that name, they hang up. Next time I will tell them, "HE's DEAD and I'm blind and don't read."
