Excellent, Bob. I did the same, only a hard of hearing old woman. Kept this cretin on the line a good bit. I did the same this with people calling from Rick Santorum's Super PAC when I learned they didn't disabuse me of the fact they aren't calling from Senator Feinstein's office (which I repeated 4 times hoping they would tell me I heard wrong, but NOPE).

Okay guys, here's the deal. This "company" is using a software to dial out while they input any number they want to appear. One week they were using  numbers indigenous to my area. One day they used my home phone number, but changed one digit. Recently, they used *my* home number. When I asked why they used my number to call me, he hung up.

I have done a cursory search on this company, the concensus is that they are in Florida; the truth is, they can be anywhere in the world. The address for American Credit Services is ostensibly in South Florida. We checked out the address and it is a single family address, likely unrelated to this scam. They don't have a business license, so this address may have manifested from a fake one given to a target. Any and all contact you see on the Internet as a means to reach these scammers is fake.

They hang up as soon as you sound like you have a brain in your head and ask a few questions... They call our home up to seven times.. EVERY DAY.. How can we get it to stop!

I get three or four calls from American Credit Assistant a day.  The calls are coming from 301/283-3283.  When I call back, the my call does not go through.  Apparently ACA has some sort of robo call system that redirects their calls to target areas of the country.

They call me 3 to 4 times daily and the number changes regularly. today it was listed as a local number 303-652-3294 so looked like a neighbor. Was i surprised to hear their recorded message again. When i hit redial it says that is a non-working number! how do they do that? they get more sophisticated all the time!
Can i report this company?

Ring ring ring every day. SCAM  callers from everywhere. I wanna know if this is a joke or not. If there is a serious follow thru then I will take action..... thank you. I feel for every victim on this board.

Talked to them today...866-960-9368  is a real number I was able to call them back and get back to the rep.   I have gone thru 3 people now in the "process"  now being told there will be a one time $1000.00 fee.

Has anyone gotten a real phone number for these idiots. They gave me an 800 number, however, it was to a real credit card company.

Scammers called me again! A male. This time posing to be from Ebay asking me about a Tiffany embrace 3 carat that I wanted? A-hole actually wanted to meet w a cashier's check from me.... Seriously? I said yeah sure I'll meet you, don't come empty handed! I'm headed to the bank right now to get your cashier's check. Yeah right.  I am calling Pam Bondi's office right now to report this scam.    

Just got a call from the scammers, I asked them if they were from the local business that they called from. Hung up on me. I called the number back and it was a fax, so I called the business and confirmed that the # I was being called from was indeed their fax number. I told them that this was going on and they need to report it to the local police.

I have blocked these nuisance callers many times. I hope they stay blocked. They are just bad news. I have found out they scammed people who were their associates. Recently too. I might have been next ... along with all the other people on this Board. Not judging anyone but I know bad karma will get them!

I've done what I could for them. I've taken their harassment calls and talked to emotionally disturbed, nasty, abusive telemarketers. I don't want to be mean but even the good Samaritan didn't stick around. He finally went his own way after helping the stranger. I have a right to get what I want. There was NO doubt that this was a dead end. They would NOT listen to me and quit calling. I've given them the opportunity for several years. The do not call list is a joke. So I decided to go in a better more respectful and gratifying direction... by disconnecting all phones.      

I thought that this would end after I told them what came up on my phone as being a Marketing Fraud. Now they are spoofing a local business owner here in Wyoming. The number is to a legitimate business 307-789-3079. they have been using that number now for over a week calling 2-3x's a day. When I confronted the female, she was yelling at me saying they didn't spoof numbers and it went downhill from there.

I received a call from American Credit Assistance that used a spoofed local caller ID number (which I will not repeat here).

I don't feel sorry for them. They've had plenty of opportunities to give me a ring when my phone was active. Its too late now. My phone is gone and they wont be able to call or attempt to create confusion anymore. Bunch of losers, can't think through their head, thinks through their disturbed emotional as%.... everyone on this board is wise to their attempted scams.

They call us EVERY DAY!! We don't answer our phone unless we know who is calling and they do leave a message every time. We are also on the "do not call list" and they still call. I wanted to find out who they were so I pushed 1 and after being told there were 42 calls before me I waited it out and got to a real person, I answered her questions with "yes" that we had debt over the amount she asked (can't remember what that amount was) and if our interest rate of was over 12%. She then went into her sale about how they can help us.  I said "before I tell you our personal information I need to know what company I'm talking to", she said "American Credit Assistance". She then proceeded to tell me they get reports every month from creditors so they got our information from them. I said that's funny cause we have no debt (which is true, so they are flat out lying), she immediately hung up on me. Before that we had also pushed 1 to tell them to take us off their call list but before we can even get it all out they hang up on us. Seems rather wrong that they call hassle us with daily calls but we can't even get a sentence out before they hang up on us. I am SO sick of "this is your last chance"!!!  

These telemarketers have such filthy life. I think they would try to infect you with the STD which I am certain they have after past few years of low-life living. They are just bad news. Beware!

I have received a min. of one call per day and sometimes two call a day from American Credit Assistance for the past couple of months, After receiving calls for almost a month I decided to try a different tactic and tell them I was interested in their product in order to glean information about their company. When I started asking questions about their company I was hung up on on two separate occasions and when I asked to speak to someone in charge I was treated quite rudely when I refused to give the caller my personal information before speaking to someone else.  I am on the no call list and have repeadely ask their representative to take me off their call list.  Their response is to hang up.

I had the time so I kept the guy on the line for 14 minutes giving bogus information.  He eventually caught on and let go a string of foul words directed at me.  I asked if he would please call back tomorrow so we could do it again?     I know it was of no value but I felt better...they have wasted so much of my time a little pay back was nice.

Yes call Pam Bondi and she will get on their case ..... especially if you say that the telemarketers were trying to sell socialized healthcare!

Just got a call and the caller ID came up, Marketing Fraud! How interesting!

I spent a better part of today researching this number to get to the bottom of it.  I posted early about Jodi who was very nice and directed me to the correct company.  I called CALLERID4U and the ADMIT to owning and controlling this number.  To stop the calls call 206-792-9399 and file a formal complaint with them and demand your number be removed from their call list.  Then, notify the FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL and let them know that CALLERID4U has admitted that this number and it's fraudulent use belongs to them NOT to International Telcom, LTD and file a formal complaint there.  I hope this helps.

These people call multiple times a day victimizing people, especially the elderly by promising them lower interest rates.  Even if you are on the National Do Not Call List or tell them directly to stop calling, they will increase the number of calls to your number.  Here is the phone number for the corporation in Washington that the phone number actually belongs to.  Everyone needs to call and file a complaint with JODI at INTERNATIONAL TELCOM, LTD.  His phone number is 206-479-5200.  That company is the one responsible for these calls.  Let's flood his number and  make him stop the harassment!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have researched the company American Credit Assistance and have the following information for all of you, with supporting links if you want to look for yourselves.  The phone number for Marc Hirschberg (the registered agent for American Credit Assistance, Inc.) will not take my calls, perhaps some of you will have better luck.  Better yet, perhaps some of you will do further research, perhaps by calling the Florida Secretary of State, and getting Marc's information and letting us know.

I was able to stop calls from the "old" company, "Cardholder Services", by hitting the number "1" to speak with an agent.  You cannot ask them for their address, phone number, etc., because you will be hung up on.  You need to all but sign up for the service, then get a contact number from them.  In my case, I acted very interested and was put on hold when I asked to speak with a supervisor.  A lady (another consumer) was on another line and was calling in to complain about her $900.00 charge and they did nothing for her.  Somehow I got connected into the call.  I asked her which number she called, and was told it was: 866-229-3490.  I called that number back and they won't tell you who they are (they will connect you only if you tell them who you are calling for and give them your active account number, which I didn't have because I had never signed up for anything).  I told them that I would continue to call them every time I received a telemarketing call.  I was finally connected to a supervisor after doing this numerous times and she told me she didn't know what I was calling about, but that she would "see what she could do."  The calls stopped after that.  

Anyway, I hope this helps some of you.  Hopefully you can pick up where I left off and let us know Marc Hirschberg's cell phone number.  Maybe a few calls to Marc can then get the calls stopped for good.

PS : u can put them up in ur garage and charge them rent . let them set up telemarketing shop in ur garage and they will leave u alone. at least u can keep an eye on them in a inexpensive way!

why don't yu have them move in with yu? its like keep ur frends close but ur enemies closer? theres sum wisdom to that!
