"or press 2 to be placed on our Do Not Call list". I am NOT going to press 2, as I have heard this somehow allows access to your phone number where they can dial out and rack up charges.
I am on the Do Not Call list, but I'm still getting calls from this number...at least twice a week.

I've had 2 missed calls, one last night and one this am. Didn't leave a message either... I'm glad I Googled this number and it's weird other people have gotten it too.

The recorded message at the beginning claims I signed up on a website (false) and as a reward they would like to offer me two $50 walmart cards if I agree to pay $1 shipping and answer a 3 minute survey about my shopping habits.

I got two calls from this number within 3 hours. The first was debt consolidation and the second was offering WalMart gift cards. I have tried to get a person on the line to inform them that they are wasting government resources and need to stop calling but have had no luck. My next step is to log the times and dates that they call and contact the powers that be to find out how we can sue them for the misuse of government resources.

You should register your number with the National Do Not Call Registry, then file a complaint about the number. I file on every bad number I get, and I get them every day. Not sure if it does any good, but I hope so. Here's the link: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
