Stop making false delivery tags. I have not ordered anything from your company. What kind of bull is this
I went to an interview and had sat through a PowerPoint presentation and an interview. We would have to pay our own fuel unless we did 14 appointments and we have to demonstrate 15 machines per week to even get our base pay. It seems like a cutco or Kirby scheme.
Okay, ive worked there & What you guys need to realize is, for one, in the survey it asks for promission to give a call back! So of course, if you say yes.. YOURE GOING TO GET A CALL BACK!
For two, HAVE SOME RESPECT, regardless over the phone or not answering the phone automatically cursing at the people calling you, what does that do for you?!? Don't you people have any type of respect!? Half the marketers are young people working part time to make a living.... I'm sure a lot of you can relate.
If you don't want any calls answer the phone like a human being & say no thank you! And you'r GLADLY taken off any list!
Unfortunately, if you DO the survey, then get the call and be asked to be taken off the list.. Then a month/year later, do the survey again.. You're going to be put back on a list. (Common sense)
And last.. Any type of marketing that is done. Is ALL explained. Delivery notice, SAYS YOU WILL BE ASKED TO VIEW OUR PRODUCT! Poker cards, SAYS YOU MAY BE ASKED TO VIEW OUR PRODUCTS, it says ONLY WAY TO KNOW YOUR PRIZE IS TO MATCH IT UP WITH MASTER KEY CHART! Surveys, before we get any information from you we explain to the t what will happen.. Get the gift to you, get your opinion.. We ask you to set aside a hour. None of our REPS are pushy or rude.
So seriously, keep in mind respect goes along way! I can not speak for all company's.. But I can speak for Country Aire technologies when I say, it's not by any means, "a scam".
I love my majestic. It iss every bit as amazing as they said it was. I know that the different groups that sell them around the country are individually owned. It's a sales job where your goal is supposed to be to own your own franchise some day. The details of how leads are generated vary a little from place to place. Where I lived it was mostly cold calls but that was before the no call lists. Im not sure when sales phobia really took off in this country, but we all like to buy a worthwhile product so why do we all fear the salesman who tells us about the product? yes, a salesman is biased, but that doesnt make him a liar. All the former or almost salesmen posting here were looking for a job but were mislead in some way. why, because people wont even consider a sales job without being tricked into it. Isn't that strange? By the same token, people have to be tricked into talking to a salesman somehow. The crazy thing is that my life has been better because of this machine, but i never would have given it a second look if they had been more direct. I'm not defending them really. I guess I'm posting philosophical thoughts on a random forum.
The various companies that use this phone number (now it's Majestic Vacuums and Defender Air Purifiers) claim to be doing a survery, then say you've won a free gift. When they come to your door to give you your gift, you have to sit through a vacuum and air purifier presentation. The vacumm is $3,000 and the purifier is $1,000. This is a SCAM to get through the back door for folks on the Do Not Call list. There are a lot of "surveys" out there now that are trying to do the same thing. Just hang up the phone.
I bought 3 defenders And one filterquuem in December of 2011. I was looking for an air filter system because I have a dog and three cats. The products are great products but a year later all of my machines stopped working and there were red lights on every machine. I called the company and said, there's something wrong with my defenders and filerqueen."they won't work. She said oh! That just means you need them serviced.
She set an appointment for their service man. He does not charge for his services just 10.00 for travel. I thought that is really great! What they do not tell you when you buy their machines the main filters have to be changed out once a year. Next was the jaw dropping news. 1year defender bundle 1med Carthage and two paper filters is $172.95.remember! I have 3 of these defenders. 1 year system bundle $219.95 for a total bill of $585.88.If I had been fully informed I would not have purchased any of it period. Even the service man told me the salesmen are not taught to rampart this information. I could only afford 1 filter for my Majestic (vacume). I have not been able to use my defenders sence December 2112. It won't be long before December comes around and I'm stuck paying for something I can not use. I am on Social Security
And I feel like I was swindled.

I believe this entry is bogus. It is hard to read the response because it is apparent that the writer's English is poor. That being said, I believe the writer (and probably the caller) contacts "customers" from a foreign country such as Nigeria, India, China, or any other place where labor is cheap.
I live in Michigan and replied to a similar ad on Craigslist. The only difference was that the name of the business was Michigan Health Technologies (that wasn't disclosed in the ad; presumably so the job seeker can't research the company). Health-Mor and the Filterqueen brand are doing this all over the country. I was desperate for a job, and while $20 an hour sounded too good to be true, I decided to try it out. I went through the same 15 hour 3 day unpaid "training" session, and was told afterwards that if I did 10 demonstrations with friends and family I would be given $100 with a chance to make up to $5500 that weekend. What BS! Not only did I never see that $100, I was told that in order to receive the $20 an hour, profit sharing and benefits I would have to go through extended advanced training! What a scam.
This company is crap.Total lies throughout the entire experience. You are promised $15 an hour if you maintain a minimum of 15 demonstration calls per week. This is the trick, It is impossible to reach this goal at all, let alone every week. The demos last 2 and a half hours a piece and that would mean doing 3 a day for the 5 days you work. You leave the mrning meetin at 11. And you are told to be back by about 8. Anyone with general math skills will notice that there is simply not enough hours in the day to do this. Making it impposible to ever reach your base pay, which by the way includes your GAS ALLOWANCE that youll never see. So not only will you never get the base pay. You will be paying the gas to drive YOUR car all around the city ALL day. I will say that I love the products. And the job itself for that matter. just not the pay system and that is what matters. So i will say it again. This Company is CRAP!!!!!
It is 900 every two weeks and yes I did make that and more. The business is legit and money is to be made if you do what you are supposed to do. The problem is that people become lazy and don't run the shows and such. It is quite simple really. I worked on both ends of the spectrum as a sales rep as well as in the marketing room calling people. People don't realize how much money you can make if you just do the job you are there to do.
The do not call list does not apply to surveys, so when they do the survey the last question they ask is "If selected to receive a free gift can we contact you back at this number?" If you say yes, you just over-rode your DNC and gave permission. The company has its own DNC list as well so if you receive a call and request to be put on it they input your name on the list. It was you that said yes you can call me back therefore the only person you should be angry with and calling a liar is yourself. Yes I did work at this particular company so I know how it works and I understand why people get angry to an extent. If you don't want someone to call you back simply say no.
is it worth it
Anyone actually make the 1000 every two weeks that is promised?!
loved my phone job!
call the main office number during business hours. the number is listed. the telemarketers do not have ringers on their phones. it is a legitimate business, however they have nothing to do with your computer system. the telemarketers dont even have computers at their desks.
Telemarketers understand noone really wants to talk to us either, but they also have a job to do and families to support. they dont like to bother you as much as you dont like to be bothered. all you have to do is ask them to put you on their do not call list and they will happily oblige to do so.
This CAC inc in olympia is calling from 360 491 1895 and harassing peoples that they won a prize
I have called this # and it does not seem to be a legitimate business they have no message or answer their phones
Shortly after these calls received a call that told me to do something on my computer and it was crashed and all info stolen may not be connected
Hello. I would just like to say that I have worked for a company just like this one, only because I really needed a job. I had to undergo vigorous training and memorization techniques so that I would memorize the whole demonstration word for word. The company would give me movie tickets or whatever to give the people watching the demonstration, but only after they sat through the whole demonstration. I realize that most people don't care about the demo, and I hated doing it. By far this was one of my least favorite jobs, but as I read above, we were not reimbursed for our gas, or time. It was a commission based job only, however I also read above that people were worried about casing houses and such. I can only speak for myself and the company I worked for....We never cased houses. I am actually the daughter of two police officers, and I know that no one at my company would ever do that. Again, that does not mean that others wouldn't, but hopefully this sheds a little light on the operation. The products seem to be quite good and worth a look at if you can afford it, but as for how they get into your house, none of us liked it any more than yall do.
I received a call from this company and set up an appointment for them to come by. They stated I had a free prize and gave me a choice of some knick knack items. Two young females arrived dressed rather sleazy. They were very nice, demonstrated the air filtration product and offered to sell it for 600 dollars. Of course I turned them down. Although they were very nice, they need to consider their appearance.
Your systems work well and do help families I can say that. But YES YOU ARE VERY PUSHY!!! You go AROUND THE BUSH. You dont tell the EXACT truth. AND you do PUSH and dont shut up until you get a sale or the customer yells or hangs up.
You tell the customer you are gonna have someone come by the house to give them a free gift. EVERYONE WINS A FREE GIFT. Then you tell them we also would like to show you something and just wont your opinion on it and you tell them it doesnt take long at all and we will be out of their hair.
but really they are there for TWO hours doin a demo. And then when they say they arent interested The Boss or Manager PUSHES and PUSHES. until they sell to you or the customer gets pissed.
And to new hires they explain to them that they will deal with rude people. I wonder WHY!!!!
Coastal aire cant take no for a answer and are so distrespectful!!!!
And they dont explain to the people on the phone its going to be a two hour demo. They just keep it sweet and simple and say they are going to have someone come by and give them their free gift and ask if it was ok if we showed them something real fast and we got their opinon about it.
We were always told if they ask how long the demo was going to take to NEVER say two hours to only say how ever time you got.
And yes we arent employees but it is easier just saying that. Then having to explain
Yeah, I two was a employee and they treat everyone like s***. Unless you are makin them money
Umm Person its not a SOB STORY, its the truth. They do pay for their own gas. And if they dont follow through with the demo at someones house the company does not pay them. Thats how messed up that place it. And the people who come to the house to do a demo have no control over it. They are just tryn to do their job
You dont get reimbursed for the trip. they make you drive a ways away some two hours away and only pay you 10 dollars per house you go to. You put WAY more money into gas and food then they pay you. They dont treat you well unless you are selling good.
Wow! That's pretty bad for somone commenting on anoher persons references to spelling and grammar!
I counted 10 spelling and grammar mistakes, right away!!
I have exactly the same problem like Matt's discussed. This time the company name is Sound Air Solution locate in Everett, WA 19th.
I was mistaked the 3x3 yellow notes on my door with the UPS notes that I missed the 1st time.
I called the number on the notes and the guy said that his company giving out gifts every year to the residents. He name out the items so i can pick then said that someone will be right out to my area to delivery the gift to my house and ask for my address.
The guy came to my house and did the demo just like Matt's said about the Majestic and the Defender things and told me the price for both item is $3500.00.....etc.
At the end I was stupid enought to made him a deal and gave him a check $1314.00 for the demo Majestic and he took my current working vaccum, and signed the contract.
The contract written that if you want to cancel the product you have to sign and return the sale agreement by mail within 3 business days or telegram, but no FAX number provide on the paper.
I signed and mailed in my form the next day after did some reading online found simular case that happened like this.
Thank you for all the people that take their times to post all this sale craft. @ Epinions.com
Not everyone is a jerk. There are really decent individuals just trying to make a living. There polite and excited about showing there product. These guys deserve to be respected to.
you clearly dont work for them lol or you would know that they are not employees but independent contractors
Tired of B.S.
Well much as Just Jenn stated we are also on a do not call list. They called asking for the misses and I corrected them saying I was the man of the house. They did not want to deal with me as obviously they knew they were not going to buffalo me into any nonsense. So I have also been trying to call them back to no such luck. First the "gentleman" for lack of better term (maybe snake oil salesman) that called was far from what I would call well spoken for a salesman. I could barely understand him at all for I speak english not ebonics. Once he realized that the misses was not home he hung up on me. So as far as whether or not the product is good the fact that a salesman would call me at my home and disturb me to hang up on me, speaks volumes about the shadiness of the company. A reputable company would leave a message clearly stating what they were calling about. So no, I would never buy from this company and now that I have their adress will probably be paying them a visit to tell them in person about how much I like being hung up on.
My eighty-something year old parents were visited by these unscrupilous people. After 4 hours of wearing them down, after repeatedly being asked to leave, my parents could no longer take it, broke down and signed the contract. These people were so pushy they would not leave when they were asked (so many times) and would not take no for an answer. Their old vacuum (which was still fairly new) was taken away in pieces, along with my folk's mental stability. My mother was an absolute wreck for 2 days afterwards, and I was very concerned about her health. Talk about being victimized! After I contacted the manager, the vacuum was returned and the contract (hopefully) was cancelled. This strong-arm tactic is very bad business, to put it mildly. People should be aware this is going on.
I can comment on Filter Queen. I have owned 2 of them. The first one seemed to lose suction, even if I changed all the filters. So I sold it and bought a Dyson. A few years later I received a call from Coastal Aire and asked to demonstrate the Filter Queen 360. I had no problem with that and we did buy one. But after 2 yrs of owning one, it stopped working. Found out there was a recall on the hose/wand/floor head. I found out about this recall on the Filter Queen website. I did not receive a phone call or a letter stating anything about the recall which I think is not to professional. When I did get ahold of someone, they stated it would take roughly 3 weeks to receive the replacement parts. No problem as I understand there was alot of work/packaging/quantity that is at stake. So I called back after the 3 weeks of not receiving anything and I was stated that the parts would be sent out that week and they would call me back and let me know the confirmation number. I never received a phone call. So I called back and left a message and someone called back and stated that the parts would be sent out on the 15th as they were having issues with their vendor. So, as of today, I still have no parts and have to wait---who knows how long before I can receive them. So far my opinion of the Filter Queen company, not happy at all !!!!
