Hey. I just received a call from them. It was 7 seconds of silence and then they hung up.
This is what I do when I get calls like this... I add the number to my contacts as "Telemarketer 1" (then 2, etc.) and set the ring tone to "No Ring"
They can call as many times as they want. I won't hear it or care to.
I am on the Do Not Call list. Have been for months. It doesn't help because they don't care about the law (which, by the way, states that sales calls can NOT be recorded messages).
I don't know how to get them to stop, but I do know how to silently ignore them.

No one ever says anything, but we get one call a week at least lasting 5 seconds then dial tone. What is the point?

This company calls at least once a day and is one of the most persistent I've encountered....if there is a way to get them to take my number off their list, I have not heard them state it. It's a really repulsive approach they take and I hang up fast. This would be extra threatening to very old persons living alone when they claim "there has been a burglary in your neighborhood."
