Not ncessary if you are on the DO NOT CALL list, it did not say that they going to stop the Politcial Surveys phone calls.

This phone number, 360-474-3948, called me at 5:34PM EST.  Did not leave a message.

That sounds like you put in the number on caller ID where your number was supposed to be. Your number isn't really on the DNC list until after 31 days.

I forgot...who pays for our phone service? Oh, yeah, WE DO!  Do what I did and get Ooma phone service who have a great little feature where you can custom tailor your phone blacklist. Man, I LOVE having a saved phone blacklist and also love punishing those jerk callers by sending their calls to the never ending ringer department in hell....they'll probably get the calls when they end up there someday anyway.

Sorry, but legitimate survey polling is exempt from the do not call list.  They aren't trying to sell you anything.

I just had the idea to google some numbers that kept appearing on my cell phone.  360-474-3948 came up on May 11 @ 6:38 p.m.

And of course, wow, they have called ALOT of people.

called 3/11, didn't answer, no message - another scammer from what I've heard.

I don't care if they are spamming, scamming, politically looking or just want to talk. I love google voice. I hooked up on my phone lines to be received by voice and i am able to block these callers. do it and save yourself the time to report them because nothing gets done by donotcall. gov. they just send u a long a** form and u get disgusted.

I continually receive calls on my cell from 360-474-3948.  I do not know anyone in the state of Washington and want the calls to stop.  My cell number is listed on the Do Not Call List.

I received a call from them on May 11, 2012. I didn't answer and they left no message. I guess they aren't that important after all.

Recorded message started with "Do not hang up.  A home burglary has occurred in your area. You are eligible for a ...".  I hung up as it did not give the company name/number/information"

Calls from this number all the time plus another political call from a 202 number. Won't stop calling!

I got a call from this number on May 12. They didn't leave a voice mail and I didn't pick up.

Walsh reminds that political robo-calls are legal, but the same tactics from businesses are not.  That being said, it wasn?t really a political poll. That means it?s still illegal. Remember that I called this scam a shipwreck? Scammers, while sometimes clever, aren?t always the brightest bulbs.

Other than those .... blocking these spoofed scam related numbers either with a phone that has call blocking features or using Call Screen won't stop them as they are spoofed numbers and not the real ones! The above services block them before reaching your phone and once 'blacklisting' them they'll get a disconnected number message! It's at least worth a try...

On second thought, it's perfect english with an Indian accent. Yep. That IS what it is.

There is a robotic british female voice that says "this numbah in note available at this time" then hangs up on you.

05-11-12 got a  prerecorded call in Missouri from this # - started as a 'political survey' then went into a pitch about a cruise.
