I receive calls from these people a few times a week also. They say they are from "Card Services,? without a specific card name or for whom they provide these telemarketing services. If you try to get any verifiable information from them they hang up on you. Obviously a fraud looking for any personal information they can exploit. Am registered on the State Do Not Call Program and the Federal Do Not Call Registry, have requested to be removed from their list before. I did what they instructed to get taken off their call list. A recording told me to press 1 to be taken off their calling list. Done so at least two separate times before. Must be a way to stop unsolicited telemarketing calls.
I have listed a complaint before, yet they persist. All the 360-474 **** numbers with complaints are registered landlines in Washington state. Why can?t the FCC or FBI do something if the number is registered in the United States? The only useful suggestion was to disconnect my phone for a week or two and their computer will automatically drop it.
My call was from 360-474-3986. I am on the National Do Not Call List. I followed the promts on through. I asked the guy who answered why they were calling me and what did I have to do to get taken off the list. I called back and a recording told me to press 1 to be taken off their calling list. I did that two separate times before. These people have no right to ask me to refinance anything. I want them to leave me alone.

Attorney General Pam Bondi of Florida
"We believe these companies make unsolicited calls, purportedly as a political opinion poll being conducted by 'Political Opinions of America,'" says a statement on the website of Shapiro Haber & Ermy, a Boston law firm that is preparing a potential class-action lawsuit against Florida-based The Berkley Group, which is behind the campaign. "Then, one is offered a 'free' cruise, which is really designed to expose people to sales pitches for vacation timeshares. If you received such a call, you may have a claim against these companies, whether or not you paid them any money."
Officials at the law firm say The Berkley Group is in violation of the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call Registry, which bans unsolicited commercial calls to any number contained on the list. Officials at the Federal Trade Commission declined to say if they are investigating the campaign, but the Florida attorney general's office has received dozens of complaints about the phone campaign, said John Lucas, spokesman for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.
An attorney for Berkley told FoxNews.com that the company is doing nothing illegal.
"Political Opinions of America makes calls on behalf of numerous political entities for the purpose of gauging public opinion on a wide range of issues," attorney Joseph Sanscrainte told FoxNews.com. "Political Opinions of America makes use of incentives for some of its survey programs, whereby the individuals contacted are offered a free service or item as a means to increase survey response rates. Political Opinions of America complies with federal and state rules governing the delivery of such calls."

automated survey............... now when I see the 360 area code I do NOT answer the phone
I have gotten 3 calls from this number or similar prefix in the last couple weeks on my Cell phone. It's is beyond annoying I am on the Federal Do Not Call list
I wish I could say that I get phone calls from the same number, but every time, the extension is different. Verizon phone in South Texas. I think I'm gonna do the call forwarding thing. Sounds like fun.
They start off by saying they are from Political Survey Group and if you take the survey you will get a free 2-day cruise. When you press #2 to be "permanently remove" it hangs up and they will call again, and again and again from different numbers. Call the Federal Trade Commission, 877--382-4357. It doesn't do any good to register your number with DO Not Call Registry so long as they are under the guise of a political group .
Stop calling! Verizon phone in NC
Called me yesterday, left no VM. Im also from NC
I've received four calls from the Political Survey Group offering me a "free" cruise for answering their survey. Two of the calls came to my cell phone, one to work, and one to home. Last night at home I finally answered the questions on the survey. They're stupid. Nothing a real political pollster would ask.
Finally, I was promised a "free" cruise for participating in the survey. But a few seconds after I pushed "1" to find out the details, the call was disconnected without my being connected.
I have reported all four calls to the FTC, but I doubt the agency will do anything about this scam.
Just your typical robo-call. Looking to scam that 1 in 100??.Here are some tips: Check with you carrier and see if they offer call blocking (mine allows 30 numbers to be blocked). Another trick is call-forwarding (another 30) which my carrier also provides. I just pick one of the unwanted solicitor numbers and then have up to 30 numbers automatically forwarded to that number. This allows one unwanted solicitor to talk to another unwanted solicitor and by-passes my number all together.

This is an unfamiliar number with no name. I do not answer calls such as this. My phone is on a do not call list. IF that is any good, report all numbers to them so this harrassment can be stopped.
