I received a telephone call from 360-524-9081. A man identified himself as Alex and asked to speak to my boss repeatedly. When I would not allow him to do so, he began making inquiries about our office and job. I told him nothing. The caller ID said "APS", and when I tried to call his number from the Caller ID, it just stated the caller I was calling did not have voice services installed.

We have been getting calls for a person that we have never heard of, supposedly a colllection call for this person from www.armonepayment.com ~ saw they were an unfamiliar number calling from Vancouver on our caller ID, so didn't pick up but thought I would call back and say we have had our number for years and didn't know this person and they had the wrong number but though I was on hold over ten mins the phone just hung up and never connected me anywhere. The recording listed another phone number and I called it to tell someone to stop calling here and a recording said something like it was a collection call and by calling this number I was acknowledging a debt...and agreed to pay this debt, so I hung up!

It is IQ International, they are a bill collector

They asked for me, I said "Who is this?" , and they refused to tell me, so I refused to tell them if I was the person they were asking for. They then said if _______ wasn't available that they'd just call back later.
I don't ^$&#@! think so.
I called it back. Got a recording that gave me  the number of 1-800-327-4302. I called that number, and it gives you the option of being removed from their calling database.
My number is already in the National Do Not Call Registry. If they call me back again, they WILL have harrassment charges knocking on their door.

If you want to stop these unsolicited calls, do the following:  answer the phone and say (give made up name) Mortuary" or something like "Brown's Funeral Home", something made up.  They will not call back again.  We get alot of these nuisance/scam calls because we need to have our number public due to work.  However, we have caller-id and I have done this quite frequently, the calling party has never called back and will usually say "I'm sorry, I have the wrong number."  In short, they are jerking your chain try jerking theirs.

Called and asked for someone that wasn't here.  I said they weren't here right now and the called hung up.

We get this no. quite often. We have caller ID and do not answer the phone. Also, they do not leave a message. I called the no. back and it is for AMVETS foundation.

We have been getting almost daily calls from this number.  If we answer the phone, there is no reply on the other end.  If we let it ring through to voice mail, there is no voice mail message.

A man asked for me by my first name (mumbled) and when I responded, he hung up.  Caller ID comes up with Vancouver, WA

Just told me they were looking for donations for "Search and Rescue."

It was an obvious scam. I hung up on him.

He didn't know my information, he asked for John and Mary Smith. I said he had the wrong number and he said, well we are accepting donations from everyone in your area.

Do not talk to this person or answer calls from this number.

Don't waste your $$ on the phone trace/phone detective links that state the number is a land line in Chehalis WA and STATES THE NAME/ADDRESS TO THE NUMBER IS AVAILABLE.....here is the report we paid $14.95 for:

one google search shows it to a land line is Chehalis Wa. but many posts I have seen here and a couple other links say it's originating from Vancouver or Bellevue?

This number 360-524-6986, a man has called my parents twice this month....asks for my mom by first name....first time said 'you better have a weapon' then hung up....today called again, asked for my mom by first  name and said 'I have a weapon' and hung up!

My parents have received a couple of calls from this number this month, a guy always asks for my mom by name and 1st call said 'you better have a weapon' and hung up.  Second call today said 'I have a weapoon' and hung up!   WHO DO I REPORT THIS TOO?  THE SHERIFF?

I received a call from this number asking for a donation for "The American Veterans Association." I don't know how they got my number since I'm not listed. They asked for Ms. or Mr. (My last name.) Weird thing is, they asked for me and my partner's first name. We don't live together and I can't for the life of me figure out how they got both of our names. I said I couldn't help them and politely hung up. I *69 to get the number and check it out here. Knowing the particulars of my relationship with my partner was very creepy. :(

Keep calling and leave mechanical noise noise in the background. Sounds like machinary. I never answer my phone anyway. Also calls from AM Vets which shows another number, so they are calling every number on auto dial.

I have recieved two phone calls from this #360-524-6986. Don't know from who or who it is because after answering the caller hangs up. My next step is to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office here in Washington.

Same thing.  They won't leave a message.  They sound like they are trying to use a 'decoder' that tries to hyjack your system.   Says they are calling from Vancouver, WA.  Have been getting flurry of these type of calls from prisons and half way houses.  They try to take over your phone system to get free calls, make 3rd party billings, bill to your account.  

They may use false or real organization names or even work or volunteer for them.  Be very careful of giving any information or money or credit card or debit card information over the phone to these callers.  If you really want to make donations then contact local groups or you contact the main groups who will get most of your donations.

They called. I said, "Hello" several times. They never said anything back and hung up. Morons.

This number keeps calling me multiple times daily? Have asked them to stop, and never quite get what they want? Anyone know how to make them stop?

No idea who this is, rude, mumbled, asked for my husband by first name.  When i said sorry, he wasnt home, can i help you?, he mumbled something about vetrans and police and hung up.  Very very strange.  Would love to know who it is.
