Got a call yesterday, form 360-529-6154 - caller asked for a Manager - I told him he wasn't available and asked who was calling., he ignored me and he asked for "any other" manager - I asked what it was in reference to so I could better direct the call - the jack*** hung up on me LOL
So to the companies that hire these telemarketers - scammers - just plain general A***OLES - they are giving your businesses a bad name - and when we find out the companies that they are representing - we will surely update this post ;)
You should know who you hire or farm your work out to...either way they represent your company and they SUCK!!!

So, apparently one number and two scams....'free' security and lower interest rates. As to the security...I'm sure the FBI is really interested in break-ins in my area (Canada). And as to the interest rates.....Really!!! Haven't you got anything better than that. It' an ancient scam...the only people who would fall for it are too young to have a credit card.

Wonder if they use the Qeen's English on scammers or a sailor's English on them. HaHaHa

Like Obama's famous speech where he said, "Dont BOO, vote!" the case here is similar. Don't just Hang UP! Report!" If everyone took a minute from their day to report these things, the problem would eventually get legislated out of existance because it costs too much... and basically, we need to legislate phone companies to be responsible not just for SELLING these lines to abusers; but, taking their CUSTOMERS into consideration and police abuse themselves, with heavy penalties for failure. This would end the problem immediately.
Right now the phone company has a conflict of interest: the abusers, and we hte customer, are both the same person to them. We're both their customer. Those people pay a lot of money (to the phone company) to abuse us. And, we pay a lot of money (to the phone company) for the priviledge of allowing them to abuse us. The phone company could fix this, and the whole thing would sort out. All we need is a law that states you can't Pay Homage to Mammon, and God, in so many other words. The problem will end. Yes, corporations have the ethics and morals of a psychopath. Sometimes, YOU MUST legislate morality; but, let us just apply that to the headless body of a CORPORAT-ion.
Corporate \Cor"po*rate\ (k?r"p?-r?t), a. [L. corporatus, p. p.
of corporare to shape into a body, fr. corpus body. See
Corpse.]
1. Formed into a body by legal enactment; united in an
association, and endowed by law with the rights and
liabilities of an individual

Never ASSuMe no one is doing anything, just because they didn't inform you of what they were doing. Many people haven't learned to report these to the appropriate agency, let alone inappropriate ones, or even know they can report them.
We need to increase exposure to the appropriate reporting sites, rather than blame people for something that one hasn't a clue about that for which one is speaking.
Cyberhelp 2012-10-19 21:33:57 Unknown
Yes, and fortunately, their secretarys, and the switchboard screen their calls... Lucky them.
Cyberhelp 2012-10-19 21:31:38 Unknown
So, did you make your report, if not, nothing will happen! :-/

We just need more people like you to report these people to the DNC, and FTC first, last FCC if it's fraud. Each section handles different complaints. FTC handles any call that hasn't been determined to be fraud. FCC only handles FRAUD, and the DNC registry only handles people trying to sell something unsolicited over the phone, which is illegal, and therefore also fraud. Many companies do this under the guise of a contest, which appears to be free, and non-profit. Anyone who follows up on the number and determines that they *ARE* trying to sell something, and that you recieved nothing for free, then call the FCC. This includes if they 'give' you an Alarm system; but, then want Money (for installation or any other reason), information about neighbors, which you shouldn't do, due to privacy act violations.
Instead, if there is ANY stipulation for the "FREE" item, it is fraud and should be reported to the FCC, who as I said, handles fraud, as well as the DNC Registry, who will also contact FCC, if it is fraud, and assit FTC if it is a code violation.

If we get one call, we'll get more than one call. If everyone in 800notes also files and lists this site as other source of information about the caller, then DNC will pursue much more quickly. They need to see we're getting or starting to get organized with the purpose of reporting to DNC Registry & FTC.gov. If the company is actually commiting fraud, as probable in this case, and is not just harassing you, you may also report this directly to the FCC.gov who investigate. In either case, refer all agencies to this number on this site, and if given a registration number, refer to that number in this site and our reports can piggy back onto the reports and link them; lol, until the FCC, FTC, or DNC tells us they don't want to do it that way.
Either way, reporting to these agencies is a must, if we want it to be handled. 800notes is informative only; and primarily sells ads to lawyers and other services to people being harassed by phone calls. (sigh), yes, this site is helpful; but, it's just another gimmick like all money making ideas. No ads, no site. Small price.

Actually, it does more good than you think. Keep up the good work. One thing else for everyone to consider: when you file a complaint with DNC Registry, list the URL for this 800 site, for the number being reported. For example: For this number it is: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-360-529-6154
This then becomes part of the supporting evidence and provides input from this site as a source for that information. Over time, it adds to the report, and the eveidence to pursue that company and action is taken more quickly.
As far as what it does... many of the companies reported in 800notes are currently undergoing litigation, there comes a point where the fines surpass income and the company folds; at times ironically like a phoenix rising from the ashes; but, if we all work together, this will become increasingly unprofitable.
Again, thanks to everyone for their help, please also file with the DNC registry. It is illegal to pretend to follow the DNC rules by giving away something for nothing in the guise of selling something. A chance to win, is not a free offer. Anyone who doesn't get the free item has had their rights violated.
However, do check with your neighbors as in a neighborhood crime watch. Many times these companie's final offer is to provide free installation to the first one in the neighborhood who squeals out the neighbor's numbers.

I keep getting calls from 360-529-6154. I think they are trying to sell something. I have asked them toquit calling but they won't. The person speaking has a foreign accent. I can't understand them.
Same thing 2012-09-25 22:11:04 Unknown
I have got the call too "winner" and "lower Intrest" I say tell all your frineds to call you cell phone or get magicJack and forward your home phone to your Governer's desk, local police department (NOT 911) or even your state capital and see how long the number stays around. alot of good it does to be on "the no call list" when you get calls anyway and they don't to crap about it even when you do report the number. a perfict way to piss away tax paying dollars, No call list my aunt fanny!
Jimmy Sutton 2012-09-25 21:51:56 Unknown
Received a call from this number and it showed up on caller ID as "Winner". We are on the "Do not call list" and we still keep getting calls.

Having the same issues as the the other postees. I placed myself on the do not call registery. and I am supposedly unlisted, so why are these calls getting through?

Caller ID (phone) shows their number as V9201803200024 but the Telus (Canadian phone company caller ID) shows the correct phone number as 360-529-6154.
Checked the internet for the toll free 1-800-320-0024 of which there is no listing. Have no idea what the V920 stands for??
When telemarketers call and identify themselves, I just calmly place the phone down on the desk and continue doing what I am doing as the phone will start to beep when the call is disconnected, reminding me to replace the receiver back on the phone. Never talk to a telemarketer - as some are just people who need to pay their bills and this helps waste the company's time and money.
Wonder if the Obama's or the Queen of England ever receive telemarketing calls??

Received the 'WINNER' call at 3:29pm - didn't answer - knew it was a scam.
At 3:30pm received a call from 'CUSTOMER SUPPORT' 253 382-9083- didn't answer - knew it was the same scam.
I have now blocked both numbers.
Since getting call blocking phones (office and home) our scam calls have dropped to nearly ZERO!
Now days, I actually look for ward to effing with these imbeciles. If I have the time, I try to keep them on the line as long as possible.
Panasonic and Uniden make excellent call blocking phones - they work wonderfully and you get at least one extra wireless handset. GREAT!
Both phone numbers are from the Seattle area.

I got a call - did not answer - this number came up - no message - and I'm on every "no call" list there is!
I had a call a while back from another telemarketer - this one from India - and I told him I'm on a no call list - and would report him - he just laughed and said he'd call me every day! That was a different number though.

Tape: homes are being burglarized, they sell home security systems. I'm on the DNC registry of course, and I filed a complaint with them; not that it does the slightest bit of good.

Called at 6:06p San Antonio time... no message, showed as "Out of Area".

ATT won't allow you to block calls, but you can pay them to block calls at great expense. The telco provider is encapsulated in the fraud and then makes demands for money with menace. Law, lawyers, judges will do NOTHING for you. The government does NOTHING because they have given companies the 'colour' of law via the personification of corporations who have all their rights and the rights of a human being. Companies can be offended. Sign up to any list you like, and the scum will keep calling. Offend them, swear and make their evening hellish. Get it off your chest directly with them. Can you believe that after ONE of these interactions I have had no calls from the Indian call centre scam, before I was getting 3 a week. They want to be people, let them understand EXACTLY what you think of them. The calls do stop. Remember legally, they called you unsolicited; perhaps you are just a foul mouthed aggressive shouty hater all the time, so say what you d@mn well please. It's fun.
