These calls are coming from call centers in Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false)
numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in
this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small
print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer
Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes
or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for
each violation.

This company is breaking the law since my number is the very reason that I went on the do not call list. They offer to lower your interest rate, but all they really want is your personal information. Please take the time to report them to the FTC. They need to be shut down and I am sick of their robocalls.

The problem about blocking numbers is that I received 10 calls for about the same thing from 10 different numbers.  Thanks for the info, I will block my 5 numbers.

Am registered on State and Federal Do Not Call Lists for home and cell phones.  Have blocked numbers from 360-529- . . . . on home block, Charter Block, cell block, Verizon Block, and pushed #2.  Makes no difference.  Robo-call just uses next number down the line.  No, I do not answer.  Friend keeps labeling number on her cell as S--- and sets it up to go immediately to message.  Which stops the ring and causes a disconnect.  That will only work until Robo changes a digit.  

Ahh if only these creative minds put their talents to solving crime, poverty, or poor education . . .

Received 6+ calls from this number. As usual, I don't answer unless I recognize the number. If it's important, they can leave a message. That being said, it is annoying when they call every few hours.

will reporting this make it easier for someone to do something about this?  I just can't believe how often they call my cell phone, and I've never answered!

I got a call from them. No message left. I called the number back and got a animated system which said it was a call from a marketing company and to press one to be removed I pressed 1 and hope it works. From what I have heard the do not call list is reserved for landlines and there is a loophole in the law that allows marketers to call cell phones. I wish law makers would update the law as most people do not have or use a land line anymore.

i am on the do not call list.  this is ridculous.  they have called twice tonight from 2 different #'s.  this one & also 503-457-1270. this is from some guy named Tom both times trying to sell home protection.  i have a security company & do not need one.

I received no less than 23 calls from the 360-529-6156 number.  I notified "Tom" many times that I was on the DNC list.  Clearly it does not matter to him or his company.

My solution.  Create a contact with his number...call it S P A M.  Then assign a Silent Ringtone to it.

I have received four calls from this unknow number.  I will not answer, but I am reporting it

I have reported this to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and that is a total waste of time. This has been going on for a couple of months and there is no stopping them.

have also received calls from this number over past few weeks ...JUST called again.....no message nothing - so they are still trying from the looks of all the other replies listed.
how can they get thru if we're on the do not call registry list?
