I was on the computer today watching a video of president obamas inauguration speech and got call from this # 1-360-529-6158 the recording said" The F.B.I. reports there is a home invasion every 12 seconds in The United States ,to prevent your home from being burglarised we will put a sign in your yard if you agree to having the sign you will be eligable for a free security system from the F.B.I." The ony option it gave me was to be put on their no call list didnt say how to get the system ,so i called it back it still only gives me option for a no call list Well not that I do ,but if I did how do I get it? anyone know what this is or why the F.B.I. would be trying to prevent home invasions just doesnt sound like their job sounds more like a legal way to perform illegal wire taps if you want to see for yourself google   "free fbi security system"

Good thing about callers that hang up on you, you can complaint to the FCC about it without having to determine if they are selling anything! Abandoned calls are illegal!

I've received calls from "WINNER" (yeah, right - like anyone is stupid enough to answer using that lame fake Caller ID) off and on. I just unplug the phone and let it ring and ring on their end. Then I plug the phone back in and go about my business. I, too, have a Panasonic that allows you to block up to 30 numbers. Since that can fill up in a week (I get a LOT of these fake BS calls), I won't block them unless they get annoying.

For those of you that also have Panasonic phones and wish to remove older numbers from your call blocking list that don't call anymore (i.e., the scammers already switched to another number), you can view your list of blocked numbers by pressing the soft key below Menu, then pressing #217. You can then scroll up and down the list.

Another thing that infuriates them is the call blocker. If you don't have one, get one. The callers are actually cowards pretending to be evil. But then evil is another form of cowardice.

I got this call again today Sept. 21,2012.  It came upon my called ID as Winner360-529-6158.  I never answer, I just let them cuss, nothing infuriates these idiots more than an answering machine, thank God for them. My poor mother was so vulernable she would have been the perfect victim for these kind of scam artists, Unfortunately there are lot more people like my mother, believe anything anybody says. Just too kind hearted that's a dream come true for these evil devils.

I just called it back, it rang a while and finally a computer answered and offered me to be removed by pressing 1.

This company is calling my number and we are on the Do Not Call list. What is the point of being on the Do Not Call list if people are still allowed to get away with thisI want to them prosecuted.

There must be people stupid enough to fall for these scams or they wouldn't be calling.  I wonder if there is any way to educate the gulible. But again, a friend of mine says "There's no cure for stupid."

I got this one, too, but didn't answer - must be foreigners - I wouldn't answer any call that listed itself as "winner," because I just know it's gonna be a loser.

"Do not call" is a joke. It only applies to legitimate businesses.

If you get a call from a business and you are on the "Do not call" list, then it is a SCAM. Don't give them ANY information.

Call often. No one on the line.  No message. We are on the do-not-call list.  Why can't these people be stopped?

Phone rang. Answered. Nobody said a word. Caller ID gave number and 'winner'.

Nothing new. I looked at my Caller I.D. and didn't pick up. This was a cell phone out of Washington. There was no message. My phone number is listed on the Do Not Call Registry for years but I receive these potential scam calls all day long 7 days a week.

Also, My husband and I have Caller I.D. through our phone company and the small monthly cost is worth it. We  bought Panasonic phones (KX-TGA-652) a few years ago and we can block up to 30 numbers. We also block all calls that come through without showing a phone number. And we get more of those than any other.

Another alternative is filing a complaint online with http://www.fcc.gov/

ID said WINNER but they left no message.  What a sneaky way to try to do whatever it is.  People, listen to me....NEVER EVER answer the phone if you do not know who it is.  If it is real and important, they will leave a message.  Anyone who fails to leave a msg is either trying to scam you, harrass you, or solicit you.  Thank God for caller ID

I block them on my blacklist with my OOMA phone system and in a few hours from the same area they call with a different number and different ID using new electronics.  Id like to get a hold of these annoying b*****ds and beat the living crap out of them for annoying me and another beating for the DNC list....semper fi rectal orifices....

I get calls from this number ALL the time !  I have called back and hit '1' to be removed from their call list 5 times already.  They call 5 times i a row sometimes.  I get 8 calls a day sometimes.  I am beyond annoyed.  This has been going on forever!  Is this enough harassment to consider calling the poice?  What do I do?

I now want them to do that service.
I,  "YOUR CUSTOMER",  AM REQUESTING THAT "YOU AT&T" LOOK INTO WHO'S MAKING THESE CALLS TO "YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS" AND FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEM ON BEHALF OF "YOUR CUSTOMERS".
IF THEY "DO NOT STOP HARASSING YOUR CUSTOMERS ...THEY SHOULD RECEIVE A FINE...A BIG ONE"!!!

Called today at 1:22 p.m. and yesterday(Sunday) around the same time. I guess by the above notes that it was  the alarm company or some other scam.

Robo calls from a home alarm company that calls repeatedly advising you've been selected for a security system. Nothing but a scam sales call for an alarm system. This company are the crooks!!  Quit calling you b*****ds!!!!

Did you use your email address to put other people's phone numbers on the DNC list?  Now they won't let you add more numbers?  I see it says there is a limit to how many numbers you can add.

You could tell each person how to sign up from their own phone by calling:

1-888-382-1222 (TTY: 1-866-290-4236)

They have to call from the number they want to put on the list.

Little does it do to put your phone number on the do not call list.  I used my E mail to help poor people to stop them from calling them because they have no computer.  I was crapped upon because I had too many numbers on the site and was relayed an information that I was no longer able to list anymore messages. More government control ?
