Called looking for sensitive information regarding my website.  Then when asked whom they were they hung up!

Got a call from 360-588-6136, asking about my web site that i had just purchased the URL 4 days ago. When I asked what the business was, they hung up.

I got a call from Chris at 360-588-6136, asking about my website and trying to get sensitive information.  He claimed he was going to shut down the website if I didn't answer his questions.  No last name or company name was given...just Chris. He asked for information and when I questioned who he was and why he was asking he hung up.  I called the phone number and it goes to a voice mailbox for Chris Armstrong but I have left a couple messages for him to call me back and he hasn't.  What kind of scam is this?

Chris called me telling me he was going to help me make my website more profitable. I got concerned with his extreme pushy sales tactics and informed him that I must do my do deligance and check him out. He then proceeds to inform me that my website will be shut down and he would call me back in 30 days to tell "told you so", which he did. I am not sure who this joker is but he needs an attitude adjustment.

He told me my source code was incorrect on my website and said it was just free information.  I heard a tv on in the background and asked who he was.  He said "ecommerce specialists."  When I asked how he got my number, he said "fine then" and hung up.

Rec'd a call from Chris Armstrong related to my website and how it was going to blacklisted by the search engines. Want to know how he got my number and from where since it's not listed. How did he tie it to my website?

Just rec'd a call from this scammer. He said there was a problem with my site.

got a call from Chris Armstrong stating he needed to help me with my website. I asked who he was with and what he wanted, I got a co. name that I couldn't understand he asked if I had heard of them I said no. He is to call back tomarrow and let me know what he can do to fix my website he was all booked up tonight. You can hear lots of callers in the background. Thanks for the heads up.

I just got a call from this jerk, Chris Armstrong, at 360-588-6136.  He said something was wrong with code on my website and it could lead to getting blacklisted by Google.  I told him my site was fine and that I did not have time to talk him right now.  I said if he was selling anything I was not interested.  Then he said he was not selling anything and just trying to help.  Then he said my site looks like crap.  Yeah, that is not going to get you anywhere.

You guys should have all listened to him. To bad your sites are now all shut down or still not making money! Listen to what he says and you'll actually have a shot at going somewhere with your site!

I got a call from this number too.  He didn't talk to me -- hung up after I called, and for some reason I was compelled to look up the number. Funny, my website just went live - guess he's watching?  Called back, and the voicemail indicated a Chris Armstrong, just like the other comments stated. Interesting ...

this guys called me too.  didn't bother calling back after seeing all the comments here.
