I just got a call from these people on my cell phone as well as my work line.  It is a scam - they probably got our numbers from doing an online payday loan and they are threatening legal action unless we pay up.  Only problem is that I am VERY dilligent about my records and can actually prove all my loans are paid off.  When I spoke with this guy and told him that my husband is a police office (which he is) and I informed him that it is illegal to say what he is saying on a voicemail over my WORK phone number - disclosing personal information, he began to state that he was government and my husband couldn't help me.  I also informed him that what he is doing is illegal in the state of Florida - we have very strict laws regarding harassment over the phone.  So when I informed him that I was recording the conversation and will submit it to my husband's station for review - they immediately hung up.  

I seen another post on a different site about this number and the guy said he likes to call this number a couple times a day and blow an airhorn into the phone as soon as they answer.  I think I'll be visiting Walmart tonight to pick up an airhorn!  :)

My cell phone showed a missed call this morning, but no voice-mail message were left. When I callled the number back, a man with a heavy foreign accent answered. I work with the public, and I deal with many people who speak with accents...yet I could barely understand this guy. He asked for my full name, and I replied, "I'm not going to provide you with my name. You called me, so you should know who I am based upon the my phone number." He said okay, and then proceeded to ask me for my full name again! Didn't he hear a damned thing I had said?! When I told him again that I would not tell him who I am, his response was, "Okay, bye". Has anyone else experienced this same thing from these guys? I couldn't make out what he was saying when I asked him what company he represented, not so much  because of the accent, but more so because I believe he intentionally mumbled his reply. Anyways.....

Received a call this morning.

Just took a call from this number.  The caller asked to speak to my wife about "a legal matter".  I refused to allow him to speak to her unless he told me more.  After a couple tense exchanges with "Officer John David" his "Supervisor" got on the call and tried to intimidate me.  The call abrubtly ended when I asked to see a copy of the complaint, learn who filed it and where.  I offerrred to have him fax it to me but he said he couldn't do that.  Then I advised him that I was a licensed private investigator (which I am) and that when he was forthcoming with me then - I would return the favor.

Just received a telephone message and the caller ID had 0000; He said he was calling from US
Financial Crime Enforcement and his name is John David and I needed to call him back ASAP
because he was going to download my personal information today and forward to some county.
Couldn't understand him because he has a Indian accent or european accent.  He left a direct
number to reach him @ (360) 612-0003.

They have been calling my place of employment - 4 times within 15 minutes.  This is a scam.  They said that there is a legal proceeding pending and that I need to get an attorney.

I get these call all the time. They are people with nothing better to do than to harass people and try and trick them out of money. They get your information from pay day loan companies and then tell you that you haven't paid it off and if you dont do it, you will have to go to court.

I like to harass them back and call them over and over blowing a air horn into the phone... it really makees them mad
