I hit option 5 a few time to get to a live person, when I asked them to remove my number from their calling list, they hung up right away, and the automated calls keep coming every other day. Today I hit option 5 again and a live person picked up, I asked what company his was with, he did not say but mentioned they got routed back by "Live Voice". then he cut off the phone again.
I will hit 5 again next time they call, and will spend some time with them and then cut them off before giving out information to switch the electric billing. This is a scam lobbied by some legistrators to squeeze more from regular consumers, initially they offered a discount for 6 months, then raise your billing rate at their will. It is a Multi Level Marketing scam and the regulators are doing NOTHING to prevent these activities. Do-not-call list does not work in this case.

This number usually is the first one to call and I've gone through the prompts but it is a SCAM... I'm calling my cellular provider to block their number.

This same number: 1-360-633-9027 has repeatedly called my home phone 12 times as of today.
My home phone does not offer a number blocking service.
Please offer a solution to this problem... It is beginning to annoy the crap out of me.

I received 5 calls yesterday, and 5 calls so far today from 360-633-9027 on my cell phone. I keep my phone on vibrate, so I just let the calls go.
Don't they get the message...I have NO interest in answering them. And, since they don't identify themselves, I never would!

Call the number back and they will follow the prompts to be removed from their automated calling list...it says it will take upto 24 -72 hrs

The 'lower my electric bill scam' also uses 360 633 9026. Its cute because I don't pay an electric company directly, as my building buys in bulk and then builds us. They call about twice to three times per day

Did you stay at Yosemite or Reno, NV in July 2012? I started getting telemarketing calls after completing a phone survey for a Reno, NV hotel I stayed in. The telemarketing calls got worse after I received a automated calls from Yosemite regarding the hantavirus outbreak during my stay. Was my phone number sold by the hotel's survey contractor or Yosemite (actually Deleware North Companies)?? Did this happen to you too?? Solution: Never take a phone survey. Never answer a number you don't recognize.
