Wanted to install a free Security System so they could put in a yard sign.
They didn't know they called an alarm company.  Its a scam.
Free install, free parts, very high monthly monitoring for five years.
I had 3 calls this week, if I'm not busy I tell them "yes I'll take it".   They schedule about 4 days out then call back to install the same day.   When they arrive at my home I ask how far they had to drive and who paid for the gas. Then send them on there way.

Monitoring should be $19.00 per month not $45 or $50

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I got a call from the above number telling me they will lower the interest on my credit card.

i recieved a call from this number, they left no message but continue to call....i  don't have any idea who this is and want this to stop....i am on the national do not call registry ,but the calls still keep rolling in...

supposedly from a company called Cardholders.com but according to my search on the Internet, that company is unrelated.

I did not answer the call, but just received a call from this number and do not wish to have them calling my cell number.  Does anyone know what can be done about this?  I have enough of these aggravating calls on my landlline.

Had a call from this number; I didn't recognize it and didn't answer. I just looked up another bogus phone call's number and see that it also is in WA state.
Is this Washington state's new cottage industry? Scummy spam calls? Sheesh.

They'll definitely call you again now that you've verified your phone number.

Do not press any number 'to be removed' or 'to speak to a live operator.'  By doing so you are only confirming that yours is a real number.  Plus, they did not 'get' your number from anywhere.  They have an autodialer that dials random number sequences with no regard to the do not call list.  Why should they care -- they're crooks!

Report all scam calls like this to www.donotcall.gov.  They have been able to stop and sue some of the scammers, but others pop up just as quickly that they might not know about.  It sounds like these crooks have been busy judging by the number of posts here.  

Give the NO personal information.  Report them!

I've been getting these calls on my home phone for several months, and for the first time today got a call on my cell. Whenever I press 1 to speak to a "live operator" someone comes on the line, and when I ask where they got my number, they hang up.

Anyone have any luck getting these calls to stop? I'd like to report these people.

They called and it was an automated message, said to press "1" to speak to representative about lowering credit card rate. As I didn't know which company was even calling, like an idiot, I pressed 1 and it just hung up. I'm worried this is some sort of phone scam and by pressing 1 I may have given them ability to do something undesired. I'm really hoping its just an annoying call and that I have not just caused myself a giant headach.

I did not answer, but dialed it back after reading messages on this website.  I received a message from an opt-out service that would add my number to the opt-out list for any calls from 360-633-9168.  i'm sure they will just call me again calling from a different number.

I just got one of these calls as well. I didnt bother answering it. After reading this page, i am glad i didnt. :)

I usually wont answer the call unless i recognize the number. Sometimes i will answer calls from numbers i dont recognize if its from my area code. This policy has served me well over the years.

Your idea of a cell blocker is only OK if you are not a business. I can't put numbers into a blocker because most of my callers are first timers. How could I know which numbers to block. I get new calls every day.

These scam/scum artists are low life cheats. They don't care about anyone. They just want to rob you. To cheat you. To bamboozel you. To con you out of money.

If everyone tells someone else about the proliferation of these scam/scum artists, and that they, in turn, should tell as many people as they can. Maybe the scam/scum artists will stop.

ALSO...Tell everyone on your email list not to give out info. They should tell everyone on their lists as well. We need to get the word out to everyone in America not to talk to these scam/scum artists

I received this call today on my cell phone.  I was playing golf and did not hear it ring.  They did not leave a message.  Caller ID did not show up but the number showed up with WA, USA.  How do these people get our "cell phone" numbers????

got the call and didn't pick up.  Called back and got the:

"You have reached the automated service for 360-633-9168. Automated opt out services are required per FCC regulations when telephone solicitations are made. Using this service is the fastest way to remove your number from a telemarketing call list. Removal from a telemarketing call list using this service usually takes about 72 hours..."

and was able to complete the full "removal" process/message.

I have received a few calls from this # and since I do not recognize it, I do not answer it. Please take my # off the list.

You can win the battle by getting a call blocker and letting only the numbers you want to ring through. The rest gets blocked automatically. If you do enough research on call blockers you'll know what I am talking about. Google them, and help yourself out. Don't worry about scammers. They and their bosses are cowards by nature.

I got a call earlier today from this # on my cell phone but I DON'T answer calls that I don't recognize the #. I to am on the do not call list, for all the good it does and I always search #s I don't recognize. glad I found this site!

Called but i did not pick up.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number. I don't give out my cell number. I didn't answer and they left no message. I, too, am sick of all these calls. I get at least one a day on my home number.

Call came in said it was from Washington... I don't know anybody in Washington so I didn't answer... they left no message...

I Just had this number call me; I called it back and had the same result as most of you; however, it (automated machine) confirmed the number that called me, then I had to place my number in. Once I did that it stated I would be removed from the calling list 24-72 hrs

Received an unwanted call from Credit Card Services...from India!
