Husband received a text from this number on his cell phone. When he called (which he shouldn't have!) it asked for his credit card number . . . which he didn't give out.
MadMax 2011-06-06 20:46:50 Unknown

Angry Mom 2011-06-06 20:46:50 Unknown
Text sent to child's cell phone. Govt. should track this scum down. Take everything they have and give it back to all the numbers that they have bothered.
Ms.B 2011-06-06 20:46:50 Unknown
Who cal you call to report this. It's totally a fraud.. Very generic request. Don't even have a Credit Union account...
Rick 2011-06-06 20:46:50 Unknown
You would think this scam would be easy to track down. Guess they really don't care. Get the first one and hang them and the others would think before they tried this one again.
Miss Kissis 2011-06-06 20:46:50 Unknown
I got a text from this number saying that my credit union card was deactivated and to call this number to reactivate it.
Mishelle 2009-12-06 00:35:19 Unknown
Got the same text. Googled it and found this site. My husband wanted to call and give a fake number to see how far it would go. But instead he filed a report with WA AG's office online.

Mr. Tygy 2009-12-04 06:07:54 Unknown
Yup, I got this message too. I was sleeping at the time and woke up briefly to hear my phone make the shutdown music instead of the recieved text message sound.
Also, I'm on sprint, and also I got the message around the same time all you folks did I'm sure.
I'm just guessing that all of you have credit unions since y'all are kinda wierded out by this? ; p
This is obviously a scam, jsut as people have been putting it ; p
Shay 2009-12-04 04:53:12 Unknown

I called the number listed as Dan Grayfeather back, "Wendy" answered again, and tried to get some information out of me, I would like to know if anyone else has gotten a call from this number and if it is associated to this scam. 360-828-7235
goingtopresscharges 2009-12-04 04:11:51 Unknown
I am in the USN and will be following up with my JAG office, they will be sorry when I get my JAG office behind me along with Washington's DA. All of you who have received this scam need to report it to the authorities and press charges to ensure a long sentence for these petty criminals.

Received a text from 360-635-0106 at 5:37 PM, wanted credit card info to REACTIVATE. I called this number, and gave them a FAKE credit card number, and the call was immediately ended. Moments later a Dan Grayfeather called and a woman picked up the phone asking if I was Rick, even though it is not I replied yes, she said this is Wendy do you remember me from the Clinic? I replied yes, she then hung up the phone, and later I tried to return the call with no success. The time frame from when I entered the fake credit card number to receiving this phone call is too close to be a coincidence. please post if you have also received a similar call.

I got the text at 6:30, also a Sprint Customer. I am on hold with them now, but when I called the number back it asked to press 1 for activation, and 2 to change the pin. Just to see what happened, I pressed 2, it asked for a 16 digit number, so I entered one randomly. The message system abruptly hung up on me. I tried a second time with a second ended call. Wonder if that system knew I was entering a phony number?
Just hung up on the lady at Sprint, she was rude, told me to ignore the message and reassured me that it is not only Sprint customers! She said they're already "working" on the problem. Kinda makes me wonder....
AE 2009-12-04 03:55:17 Unknown
Sprint phone too. Mine came as a text at 7:42 pm Dec. 3rd. Has to be something with sprint... calling them right now. If they wanted to get our info, they should have tried a little harder!
reedlt 2009-12-04 03:43:10 Unknown

Chris B 2009-12-04 03:30:09 Unknown
I received my text at 7:14 PM and I am also on Sprint. Maybe Sprint has a security Leak???? You should contact Sprint to report this ASAP
Linda A 2009-12-04 03:26:14 Unknown
Received the call, 6:25 pm on my phone. Am afraid to do anything. Yes, it is through Sprint.
