Jolene is still at it calling people trying to run her scam using the same tactics as the two stories above.
As in the 1st story, my debt she was trying to scare me with was taken care of a while ago so I knew right off something was wrong.
I wish I were local stateside to make a call to the cops about her, but my last phone call cost me 15bucks for 4 minutes so I'm not about to go on hold waiting for the police to take my report. No offence to the police about this, their busy in their work like I am.
However, it might just be fun to return her call  to her and her loser husband back around 3am!

My story is the same as the first one, I received a voicemail call from "Terrie Alexander" and she said she worked for Investment Capital Legal. She asked me to call her about a legal matter, so of course, I called her back.
The First Red Flag: When I called her "office" two people- a man and a woman- answered at the same time. This immediately made me think that I was calling someone's home phone number. "Terrie" went on to tell me that she had been forwarded an old debt of mine from the recent past...I knew this to be false because the time frame she explained the debt came from was a time in my life that I had zero credit cards. I told her this, at which point she brought up the Civil Injunction that "they" (I assume the credit card company) were going to put on me at the end of the week. I insisted that the information was false, at that point she was only interested in my email address and would not let me speak, she just kept talking, mentioning legal action over and over unless I was willing to do an out of court settlement. Never in the converstaion did she mention who was going to place the injunction on me, nor did she mention who was reporting this on my credit. The best part is that when I told her flat out that even if this debt is something she thinks belongs to me, that doesn't mean that it is true, she got very angry and tried to threaten me with ending the call and having her legal reprensentative call me after the injunction is placed...at that point I told her I would not pay anything and she said, loudly and angrily, "You know what? I am done with you! I am remving this from my desk." And she hung up on me.

Long story longer: I called a business partner of mine and explained the story. He did some research and found the earlier report and the same information that the phone number is listed as someone's home number. A young lady by the name of:

I also called the Washington County Police t report this person and the Deputy told me he would look into it. I don't know if he actually will, that is why my next two calls are to the Washington State Police and then the FBI....you messed with the wrong person Jolene.

I received a call from a young women who Identified herself as "Terri Alexander" and she said she was a debt collector working with "Investment Capital Legal" and she had some information on me as far as an old address and my last 4 digits of my social security number. She said "they" were filing an injunction against me the next day unless I paid them for an old debt. The typical high pressure tactic that collection agencies are known for.
Long story- short version is I paid the debt she was talking about more then a while ago :)
Reverse lookup of the phone number revealed it to be a home phone and not a business phone. My next call was to her local police department!
