Got a call from this number today on our landline. Caller ID lists it as "Cascade Callworks" which is a telemarketing service for DISH and perhaps other clients. According to their website, they are well aware of the "Do Not Call" list which our number has been on for years, and which is still actively listed there. So, no excuses for this call; Cascade Callworks is clearly not doing its due diligence by screening out phone numbers on the "Do Not Call" list. I filed a complaint with the FCC  & hope Cascade Callworks gets hit with the $25K fine they mention on their website.

I am tired of these people calling trying to sell something.

You refer to how good etc. these telemarketers are.  You tell us that these are people trying to make a living.  Now it is time for you to earn something.  There are certain things decent people will not do.

It's funny that a rep supposedly representing an honorable business who places these unwanted calls will come here and post how they follow rules and comply with them.

Well if they had any HONOR maybe they should take the time to purge their lists of any phone numbers that are on the National DO NOT CALL list.

In fact in many states it is actually illegal to contact anyone on the governement's do not call list, so offering to add callers to their in-house list "after the fact" shows their true lack of ethics to start with.

In addition, any business that had any real honor, would have a canned response to use when an answering machine or voice mail is recived.

I've been getting calls from these people and have asked to be removed from their calling list. We are not interested in a Dish and so they need to stop calling our home in the future. We have no business with these people. I repeat, NO BUSINESS with them.

I'm sorry I asked to have my number removed and you didn't do it.  I however shouldn't have to ask.  I NEVER had any communications with your company for you to obtain my out of state HOME phone number to harass me and this is saying you call businesses.  That's a lie.  My home phone is a personal number and not a company number.  You call my house repeatedly and I have asked politely for you to not call me because you have nothing that interests me.  Now if you are indeed an employee representing this caller then be assured I look forward to the next call.  You will indeed hang up on me BUT I ASSURE YOU  I will call you back.  I GUARANTEE MY NUMBER WILL BE REMOVED.

Well, if you would actually listen to us when we call, we tell u why you are being called and if you ask us to take you off our call list we do that! And it is immediate! It doesn't take 4-6 weeks, and we don't ask for "further information". We are a dish network retailer. There!

Received call from number 360 892-6151 at about 7:45 PM in Arizona. Area code definitely puts it in Western Washington state. Telephone was answered here. Repeated "Hello" x 3 and no one, nothing on the line. As there have been so many complaints about this number, I felt it would be best to report it...seems to still be active and annoying people after all these years. I can easily block them, but believe it will be more satisfactory to contact my carrier and report them as a nuisance caller. I recommend that EVERYONE who receives a call from this number does this, rather than simply blocking or ignoring the caller: contact your carrier with the number and time of the call. If you spoke with anyone, make a note of their name. Put some heat under them!

When a human actually answers if you take the call, inform them in a firm but polite way  that they are to put you on their No Call list and to NEVER call your number again. Should they ask for "further" information, refuse to give it. Should they give you any BS about it taking "from 4 - 6 weeks to remove you from their calling list", tell them you know this to be untrue and that you will pursue action against them should they contact you again. Short of purchasing an air horn and blowing out their (and your own) ear drums, THIS is how you put a stop to nuisance callers.

I will add: they (anyone operating out of Western Washington) are in no way involved with any service I've signed up for, nor are a company or service affiliated with anyone I do business with (I typically do NOT check the little check box on agreements which include the standard "It's OK for partners or other Third Party affiliates to Contact Me with Offers or Product Information" which sometimes has the check box selected FOR the consumer who often Clicks "OK" "Agree" or "Accept" on such documents without even reading them...I'm here to tell you to READ these annoying documents before you sign off on them. At least give them a cursory glance and look for any check boxes to ensure they are NOT selected without your knowledge. This SHOULD be against the law.

SOME of them will turn out to be an agreement to a monthly subscription you don't want and will only learn about after some strange charge is extracted from your bank or credit card. If your idea of a good time is investing an hour or so in a teleconference proving the point that it is against the principles of proper human interface design to make such choices FOR the consumer (That IS a valid argument. Legally, it falls into a gray area, but if the site wants to build or maintain a good reputation, they will refund your money) in order to recoup the money extracted from you for something you never wanted, watch out for those little check boxes before you Agree! I'm just giving you "worst case scenarios", while I'm up here ranting about this number. Again, REPORT NUISANCE CALLS TO CARRIERS, even if you demand that they put you on their No Call list. When enough people do this, nuisance calling will cease to be a problem.

I am on a do not call list for sales calls. This is illegal. I'm on three do not call lists, and this is the 5th one of these I"m filling out today.

cascade call works is promoting a scam you call the ftc and file a formal complaint if they call you or your business AFTER you have told them take you off their calling list. they are bound by law to honor the federal do not call list and must take your name off the list if you instruct them to do so

Well how about get a REAL F'ing job!  You slime piece 'o sh*t working for a telemarketer!  There are laws and rules that YOUR OWN COMPANY needs to abide by - it's called the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  Maybe if enough people file complaints with the FTC you will be out of that sorry a** so-called job.
