Simply put, if they call and I answer, I will use any language toward them no matter how vulgar or insulted they get.

I had a call from this number and the recording said they wanted to help me lower my interest rates on my credit cards and this was my last and final notice. The recording then said to press 1 to speak to a "friendly customer service representative". I knew this was a scam but I wanted to see what they said and to give them a piece of my mind. Before I had a chance to say much they hung up on me. When you call it back the recordings says it is no longer in service.

I am on the do not call list (NC) and so I filed a report with the NC Department of Justice and they wrote me back that this was a group of people trying to get personal information about my credit cards and were aware of this problem. They said ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PRESS 1 TO TALK TO THESE PEOPLE. This just encourages them to call more often. Boy were they right! Now they won't stop calling (all different numbers and a lot of them international now)! They also said that this is part of a larger investigation and they are trying to rectify this situation.

I do recommend that you file a complaint with your state as well. This will just give them more ammunition against these people!

Got a call on my caller ID/voice mail from this number on 7-13-11 with a partial message, something about lowering credit card rates. Today another call on Caller ID, from 915-237-9382, with a similar partial recording starting out ...."to as little as 6% on all your credit cards..." Same scammer or different scammer?  (Intelius does not indicate this is an invalid number, as so many we have received recently turn out to be. Those idiots were calling between 7 and 8 AM, as well as other times throughout the day.)

No message - just Texas.  although I get a note that it is from Budapest, Hungary

When 361-597-3016 called us they said that this would be the last timethey would call.  What does that mean?  I forgot to put it in the previous message.

We received a call from 361-597-3016 telling us that we owe $3,000.00 in credit card det.  This was a pre-recorded message.  The phone on the caller ID was from Texas.

received two calls, 07/11 and 07/13. Complaint placed at the fcc, that's all you can do and even that is wasted time.

Got 2 calls all it said was Texas on the CID and no message was left tried calling back several times and got a busy signal.

I just received a call from 361-597-3016, saying something about my credit card, which I don't have one at all. Then I press 1 and a male answered. I explained that I don't hold the credit card they mentioned and asked him what's going on, but he just hung up before I finished my talking.
Really annoying!

Donald Duck is more believable than these 361-597-3016 crroks. Another bad number they use is from AREA CODE in W Florida -TAMPA area I beleive @ 813-361-5973

I got a call from 361-597-3016- picked up and some guy said he was with Card Member Services!
He ask if I pressed 1 and I said I did. I repeated his name he gave back to me n told him I had a question to ask. He promptyl hung up. They are obviously a scam and are looking to federally defraud the most gulliable people they call. IF they hear any resistance they hang up. They obviously are not a " legit card member service" and out to hoax people. Please report these crooks to your State Attorneys Office and the FTC in WASH DC.

SCAM - cardmember services and they are going to give me 6% interest rate on my credit card - if I owe over $6000.  SCAM!!!!

Got a call saying last time lower interest rate on credit card.  When I asked lady for company name, I was transfered to manager.  When I asked what company, he hung up.

I recieved a call from this number @10:04 am 14 July 2011.  Did not recognize the number so did not answer.

Received calls on home number and on my cell phone. Recorded message says this is the third and final call to remind me to lower my credit card interest rate.
I never press the "1" or other prompts. I now have a block on my phones..
Be careful, there are some illigitimate "businesses" out there who only call phone numbers to see if they can get a live person (you and I) to answer. If they do, then they place your number on a list to be sold to telemarketers. Do not pick up calls you do not recognize, if you can avoid it.

had a couple of calls with no message.  Called back and got recording that number was changed or disconected the same day.  Not right.

This number called me and left no message.  Believe to be a bill collector do not have business with them

received call from above number asking about my high interest credit cards.
He explained to me that he can reduce my interest rate to 6%, i asked him about who are you and why you calling, then he got little mad.

I got a call at 2:21pm today (7-13-2011).  It showed up as Beeville, Texas.  I did not answer because I don't know anyone in Beeville, Texas.

Got a call from 361-597-3016 - did not leave a voicemail.  6:38pm, EDT  Area code 361 is southern Texas on Gulf of Mexico.

Telemarketeer- at first it sounds like a credit card company and they are closing your account, then as you listen, it is to "consolidate" your credit card bills if you owe more than $3,000.  When asked who is this, they hang up. When I  called back to give them "heck" - it is a fast busy.

They called me and asked if I wished to lower my credit card rates to 6%... I pressed 1 to speak to a customer service rep. When she got on the line, I asked for the name of the company behind this and some more information. She hung up. I believe this is probably a scam.


The Caller ID just showed Texas.

361-597-3016 automated caller.  Press #1 live person comes on the line. When asked to place on their don't call list they immediately hang up.  Reported number to Nat'l do not call registry.
