This is the automated phone number for CCISD. If your child attends CCISD they call about absenses, 21st Century changes, etc.

The employee I spoke with on 4/30/12 at the CCISD Office of Technology apparently lied to me.  Her name is Andrea.  I talked to her again today when I kept getting these robo calls from CCISD.  She now says she never told me she would remove my number since she has no authority to do that.  So I spoke to her supervisor, Shawn Babcock.  He was of very little help, telling me only that he has no authority to remove my number and does not know who does have that authority, but he will "look into it" and call me back.  Guess we will see whether he will do what he says he will do.  I will post again to let you know what happens.

I got my first computer call from this 361-857-1050 number within hours after getting a new phone number for my home.  It was an automated call from Corpus Christi ISD for a student of whoever had my phone number before.  You can get CCISD to take your phone number off their system by calling CCISD Office of Technology Services at 361-878-3912.

just got that call right now. just says please hold. i hung up afraid it was one of those gimmicks where they try to charge up your phone bill!

It's from Carroll High School

some people say its carroll high school, others say its Miller high school.  My son goes to King H.S.  i think its the automated call for when your kid misses class

They call me everyday around 3 pm but I keep missing it, I looked it up and its CCISD its pissing me off....just got number like 4 days ago. I have no kids enrolled in CCISD

It's CCISD, they left me a message that my kid is out of lunch money in her account.
@RK And maybe your number belonged to someone else before you got it and they're trying to reach them and not you. (???)

@BG maybe some kid put down the wrong number so his/her parents wouldn't find out they cut school (???)

It's Southwestern Bell. Come on people, pay your dang bill! LOL

I have been getting phone calls from this number even on saturdays. When I answer they just say please hold or they hang up.. Its starting to pissed me off.. if anybody has any idea where this number is coming from or know anything please get back to me erikamendoza92@yahoo.com

THIS IS REALLY TICKIN ME OFF, ITS MILLER HIGH SCHOOL, AND MY SON WAS JUST BORN IN VICTORIA A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO, AND IVE BEEN RECIEVING THESE PHONE CALLS SINCE JANUARY. ITS REALLY PISSIN ME OFF.

Calls at approx 5pm during a weekday. It is an automated phone service requesting the recipient to call back at 878-1753 (a disconnected number) to explain why your child missed school. I don't have a child. Mine is a new service since (Nov 2008).
