I RECEIVED A CALL FOM DIS COLUMBI   THEIR PHONE # IS 202-666-5005  SAID I WAS INTILTED A 8000.00 DOLLAR LOYALTY GRANT WAS  WANTING MY ACCOUNT #    

Received a call from 202-559-7639 Washington D.C. from person named Robert. Claimed he was from US Gov Grant Dept and said I was getting a "Loyal Citizenship Grant" of $9,000. When asked how he got my number, he said through a demographic survey. When asked how I was eligible he said because I pay taxes on time and have no criminal record. When asked for his last name and federal employee I.D. number, he hung up. Background was the same static as described by others.

Yeah they just called me and i told them i do not give out personal information and ask for a call back number, the guy with a foreign accent cursed me out. I laughed an hung up the phone i really wish companies stop giving out personal information.

I am one lucky b*****d! Just got me a $9,000 government grant from some foreign sounding dude who only needed my bank account number to transfer the money directly into my account! I think some of you might have looked a gift horse in the mouth because I asked this guy a million questions, and he answered them all in the same way, so he's got to be legit. I tried to trip him up every which way, but he stuck to his guns so I figured it had to for real, after all, I AM an excellent citizen! Ha ha suckers! Now all I have to do is wait an hour, then check my bank account. Then I'm gonna go down and buy me one of them Bentleys all the rappers are driving!

Received the "Loyal Citizen Grant" phone call. Free money scam, etc. Asked for callback number and was given 202-379-1926.

got my call today some guy with a bad accet  and when he said grant , i yelled about time , ive trying to get a grant for a scoccer feild for 6 mos. and the more i went on the more mad this scamer got...untill he said i only got 7000 out of 120000 i ask for , then told him to send a check. but  first need to call somenumber in the morning             DONT DO IT SCAM SCAM SCAM ,T**** HEADS TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY......................................................

I got the same call as Angel.  I am registered on the do not call list.  How do we stop these scammers from calling

For the past couple of days I have been receiving phone calls from an out of area number (365-214-7896). I didnt answer at first because I didnt recognize the number. After googling the number I received a lot of information about this being a scam. I have received this call several times a day. Today I answered and the foreign man on the phone told me that he was from the United states treasury and my husband received a grant for $7,000 and they needed a little information. This is exactly what the complaints on the internet were stating. That he would need the SSN and DOB. In my research it seems to me that this scam has been going on for about two months now. I then yelled at the person and told him not to call back. He called back and just kept stating over and over, "you bloody American" "the FBI is a disgrace you s**t" "you bloody americans deserve to die".

Receive a call from this number everyday sometimes two to 3 times a day,  the person says ello without the h and then hangs up this is very annoying, when I try to call the number back it say I cannot call this number, what is with that?

I have been getting calls from this number for about two weeks.  They left a message saying F*** You and then they just hang up.

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number..they never leave a message --- if you call it back, it is an invalid phone number..

i keep getting calls from this number. About 5 in the last two weeks. I call it back and it says that the number is none working number.

I have the best luck using my caller ID.  If I don't know the number, person calling or unavailable I don't answer.  I have a phone that takes messages and if no message is left, guess what.

I've gotten calls from this number for the last 5 days.  I've never answered it though.  It is really annoying, I'll get calls while in class, driving..obviously I don't pick those up, but who the hell is this person and where are they calling from!??

Got a call from this number. They said the government was giving away $7000.00 to people with no bankruptcy or criminal record. They had some of my personal information and were asking if I was single or married. I didnt let it go any further and hung up.Then they called back and left a message saying the phone number to call and see if it was real was: Then hung up. No number to call. It was a foreign accented guy that called.

While I am typing this I just got two more calls from the same number. What kind of scam is this?

This number just called me. I let the answering machine answer it because I didn't know the number. A guy said Hello to the machine twice and hung up.

I received calls from 365-214-7896 every day for a month but was never left a message.  I too called it back and the message stated that the number was invalid.

Got the same phone again, they call everyday. This time I told them cool, now can I have your badge number. They wanted to give me some phone number and I said NO I want your badge number.. They hung up on me!!

i just received that same call 365-214-7896.... free grant money of $7000.00, what ever! I told them to mail it and she didnt like that. i called the number back and it's not availible... Nice...

I just answered a call from the 365 area code that has been calling everyday and it was the US Treasury department. He said I was approved for a $7,500 grant that did not have to paid back. He said I was selected from a government list of people who pay their bills on time. I told him, nope can?t be me, I?m always late. He said but you do pay regularly. I said, nope not me again, I often don?t pay. He said OK thank you sir for your time and hung up...  WTF
