Got an automated call saying my Debit Card had been stopped and to press one to give them the information to reactivate...did not press anything just hung up

have received several of these calls also from this # and another. they wanted my card # info, I hung up. I called my bank to verify my information, they said they do not make phone calls like that. I tried to call the # back also and got an invalid # message. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Robot called from this number. Something about my debit card being frozen, press 1, when I pressed 1, the sound that the camera makes when it snaps a picture occured and then call disconnected. Called it back and got Verizon message 464152-3. Tried it from a landline and it says you must use a 1 plus area code.

Called at 12:10 am. It has now reached the state of Georgia. It was a missed call and I had the ringer off, thank goodness! This needs to be stopped.

Seems they have now moved on to the DC Metro Area....thought it was odd as I don't have a debit card for the credit union that they mentioned. Unfortunately, they are going to end up scamming someone.

3773725939 called today 2.16.12, 5:37 PM on Verizon cell (NJ). Callbot teleprompter wanted me to enter credit card info. hung up, tried reverse look up, invalid phone number. Called credit card company to confirm suspicious activity. Credit card company immediately closed account and reissued credit card even though no information was entered as security precaution.

Call my cell. Must be given out by one of the car rental company or car repair chain store. No one ever call my cell until recently.
Call on Sunday around 8:15pm on 11/13/2011.
A recording message from a woman stating my Master Card in number # ?????? Had been suspended and to deactivate, I must press 1. Hung up. Why any Credit card company wants to reactivate a suspended card anyway?
Block this number from my list and record this number on my log. Yes ! I kept a scam phone # log.

They have moved into Oregon. Claiming to be Wells fargo and asking to activate a card. I'm not a wells fargo customer so I hung up and filed a complaint with the FTC.
