I received a call today Feb 19, 2014 @ 10:19 am from phone number 377-777-3737 stating that I was selected for a 7500 grant from the US government because I had not filed bankruptcy nor do I have a criminal record. I was given a confirmation number of SM592 & told to call the account supervisor to conform my ID number & I could choose how to receive the money, either direct deposit to my bank account, or debit or credit card, or WESTERN UNION, I say Western Union LOL. I then let her continue her speil in her heavy Asian accent telling me how I can spend the money & asking me not to use it to purchase alcohol, tobacco or any illeagle substances. I said thank you very much and hung up & immediately called my wireless carrier & reported it, I am now contacting local authorities & news media.

They said the exact same thing to me.  When I said I wasn't interested they hung up, but they keep calling every day about 10 times a day.  How do we get this to stop????

 I have been getting a rash of these scam calls lately I guess they just are not getting enough people with the internet scams so they are moving on to telephone scams now!   This number 377-777-3737 came form Monaco France

Give this number to your local NO Call Registry group in your state and let them be aware of it.

I had 4 calls from this number yesterday which I did not answer.  I tried to call back and "able to call number as diled"  I see someone above answered and got a foreign accent asking for Paul.  I just now got a call from unknown # which I di answer and it was man w thick answer asking for Paul also.

called 4 times yesterday (1/20) from 1:21 - 3:50 I did not answer ... tried to call this morning "call can not be completed as dialed" so I guess they leave phony number. I have no idea where  this call is coming from.  Why do they bother to call and leave no voice or text message?

This number has called multiple times a day, along with 121233, 8505476921, and 8134445615. Doesn't matter if I block them all, they just start calling later in the day under another number. I was wondering if this was related to Target also, but I don't know how any one would have gotten the number they call on. Only family has the #.

Call me in rapid succession. I never applied for anything. Grants are not paid for anyway. These people think we all retarded I guess.

Same non-sense 8 calls in 3 hours. The gov't never tries this hard to give money away, come on guys try something original.

Called my cell phone twice one day...picked up and they hung up. When calling the number back, I was told in a recording this is not a working number.

i have gotten this number a couple times lately. I WOULD LIKE IT TO STOP.

This number has been calling all day the only change I have made was upgrade a Western Union card and Renasant Bank.  I wonder if they are affiliated? Both numbers listed above have called me and Western Union and Renasant Bank were both givin my new number last week.

I also have received numerous calls from the #. I am on the way to the store to buy an AIR HORN and the next time they call they can use my grant $$ to have their hearing repaired.

Didn't answer it. No message left. They've called multiple times.

Total scam.  Anytime you get a call from someone with a strong Indian accent it's usually a scam.

Just received a second call today . . . usually ignore . . . picked up second time . . . silence . . . noisy background . . . foreign accent . . . looking for Paul . . . asked who's calling . . . US government . . . winner of  US Treasury grant . . . Paul isn't home . . .  comment made to someone in the background . . . hangup.  We too are on the NO CALL LIST and renew it regularly to little or no avail.

Just got a call from this number and when I asked where they got my daughter's name from he gave our address. When I asked where they got THAT from he said he was a terrorist and he was going to kill me. Where can I go to report this?

Nothing to do with target- I just got one and no Target connection.  Rang twice and disconnected.

Same numbers called me multiple times today. I was working and didn't see the calls until after work. When I tried to call back the number, at&t reported it as a disconnected number.

Its a number from the monaco country they are trying to spam everyone and steal identities its a load of crap

I have been getting calls from this # and a lot of other odd #'s. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the Target breach since I just got an email from them saying my info might have been stolen.

I answered the first time and got the whole government loan thing. I told him I was on the government no call list and wanted his number. He said "ok madame got paper?  Ok its 987..654.3210.." that's when I told him to never call again and hung up.  Do they think we are just that stupid?

They wont stop calling like for christ sake, stop trying to spam people.

Did not answer. They did not leave message. The number looked strange to me  my research led me to this website and after viewing recent comments it seems to be a scam fishing for social security and birth dates information. This seems a dangerous scam possibly linked to recent stolen information from large retailers like Target.

I answered the 7th call from this number today as the calls never stop.   A woman, in a call centre, sounding like she was from the Philippines telling me I had $750,000.00 due me from the United States Treasury and I didn't have to pay taxes on any of it.   I stopped the call right there, advised if I got another call from this number I would be reporting it to the authorities.  immediately hung up.

I've gotten several calls from this number in the past few days. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. And since they don't bother leaving a message of any kind, I used the phone number block built into my home phone. So, if they call back it will ring once and then hang up on them.

This number has been calling me ALL day. I don't pick up, and they do not leave a message.

I keep getting called from this number telling me they are from the "US government" except they can barely speak English.
