Called claiming they are from ssi asking if there is a tax payer in the house.

I have gotten this call several times in the last few days, not only on my cell phone, but on my home phone also........I am an elderly lady and it is hard for me to get up to answer the home phone.....but I have the cell phone close by, but it is getting very frustrating when they come different hours, every day......what can I do?????

The first time I picked up a lady asked for my name and said she was from Western survey. I told her it wasn't a good time to talk and since then I have seen the same number call me several times and I haven't answered.

I am tired of getting called daily from (385)207-7067.

Called, saw from Utah, know no one from Utah, didn't answer

Just broke my own rule and answered it caught off guard! I read somewhere all "they" need is 15 seconds and can get any info that has ever gone through including accounts password info bank info! Hung up instantly!

4x in less than 24 hours. so sick of these telemarketers calling. even when your on the do not call registry

Called me 3 times in 45 min last night. All after 9 pm and last call was almost 10 pm. Didn't answer. Call was form Utah.

Just got a call on my cell after 11  EST.

I believe they are scammers. Report them.

Call came at 8:55 P.M.  I answered and spoke with a female.  She would not state her business directly.It was a survey, and after four firm demands she told me it was about Arizona issues. I had said that we were on the do not call list, that did not phase her.  She said repeatedly that she was calling for SSI and wanted to ask me some questions, but she resisted telling me the subject of the survey until I was very specific about her need to disclose. I do not want these calls.  They are rude and obtrusive, and I have personal reasons for not wanting similar calls.

Spam robo calls.  Do not answer or they call more.

Woman said she worked for Opinion Outpost (which I long ago signed up for). She asked for my job title and where I worked.

Called me today at noon.  Didn't answer, no message

The caller is from opinionmilesclub, owned by United Airlines. If you enrolled to take surveys for miles for your frequent flier account, they will contact you to confirm some basic info under your profile in their system. It took about 1 minute.

Called at 7Pm on 12/9/13.   Caller ID showed "utah."   My answering machine picked up, but no message was left.   I'm blocking the entire 385 area code.

*facepalm*  Eeergh... I just got a call from 1-385-207-7067 and all the caller I.D. said was "Utah".  We actually have business clients in Utah so I (stupidly) picked up the phone.  A man with a thick accent asked to speak with my husband but the connection was so bad/digitalized that I couldn't understand him the first several times.  So, finally, we sorted out that he was asking for my husband and when I said he wasn't home, the dude hung up in my face.  >:0z  I did catch that he said the company's name is "SSI"  (ess ess eye).

Advice:  Because of these calls, we have recently purchased the Panasonic KX-TG242  phone set from Costco.  It's a wonderful phone system and allows you to easily capture phone numbers and file them into your own private "Do Not Call" list.  We have had wonderful success with it and I almost enjoy getting those annoying telemarketer calls just so I can add them to my personal *KMA* list.  ^_^  Since we bought it 3 months ago, we've gone from dozens of unwelcome calls per day to almost none.  In fact, this latest call is the first in quite a while.  We will plug the above # into the phone and from there on out, blessed silence!  ^u^

The Panasonic phone that we bought comes with a land-line as well as 2 portables and you can check calls/messages/other from just about anywhere.  I think we paid around $65 for the whole thing.  This, or something similar, is certainly the way to go.  The national "Do Not Call" registry is about as useful as dog hair on a cupcake.... just sayin'.  *lol!*

Some foreign phone soliciting machines now have ways of using 'caller id' to show a local number.  It's the same solicitor violating the Do Not Call list.

Called me late at night on my straight talk cell... Don't know where they would have got the number but I want on the don't call back list!

i got a call from this number I did not answer it. But I did block it. I have a caller id blocker its the best 60 dollars I ever spent. YOu can get one at amazon.com just put in caller id blocker. It blocks up to 1500 numbers and you can put in area codes. since I got this box I have not had to put up with any of those robo calls or any other ones I hope this helps other out there who are tired of getting unwanted calls. I know the do not call list does nto work but this does i give it 10 stars.

This unknown and unwelcome caller rings my cell phone which I use only for emergencies! They ring my number several times a day. This is unacceptable. My employer does not allow personal cell phone calls, especially not from unidentified callers. I am forced to turn off my phone, and I have missed emergency calls from family! I want these calls to stop. Is there a way to stop these calls?
