being on the DNC list doens't help .. I reported a chronic caller to them and they (dnc) told me I needed the company name not the phone # ....
I told them I don't have it because no messages are left they told me to call the number back .. heck no that validates my # is a working # ....

Got a call from this number this evening at 8:16pm. Did not answer, didn't leave a message. Third time they have called me this week. Hangs up if I answer. Douchewhistles!

I have heard there is a survey going on to see how often people pick up their phone to answer a number that they don't know, that may be it if you called back and it was the ssi

They said they were "Petco" and then during the survey they screwed up and said they were a security center. I hung up and they haven't called back since. The guy could barely speak English.

Instead of just posting random stuff on this site do about 30 seconds of research and your questions would be answered.

This annoying caller is SSI and the recording expalins they are Surveyors and gives you thier website. There, under "Did you get a call from us" where you 'click'. It explains they are Surveyors which is exempt and not limited by the Do-not-call-list law.

So?.if you have a Smartphone?simply block the caller. Its quicker and easier then posting non-helpful nonsense on here saying its crank callers. Unless you're bored.

Called at 6:30 AM on a SATURDAY MORNING!!! No answer when I called it back. After reading some of the other comments, if they were calling about a survey I will be giving a stearn piece of my mind if they call back.

Received call at 9 pm and the caller hung up as soon as I answered.

Has called twice tonight and I haven't answered. They didn't leave a message but after seeing this, I am gonna answer next time and give them a piece of my mind. Since I use to work as a telemarketer, it is by law u can not hang up on the customer. So I say it's a scam of some type. People anymore do as little as record ur voice to call others and pretend its you. Scary how far technology has brought us. People try anything anymore. Be safe!

called at 7:18pm, nobody answered my hello. I hung up. Please stop these calls.

They've been calling the last few days and don't leave a message.
Today, Saturday, they've called twice already! Telemarketers per online search.

I Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

They called to do a survey about a recent purchase of tires. Its pretty creepy when they confirm your name at the end.

Received call from this number today but no message was left. Calling back, I got a recording saying they were SSI, a survey company?

Caller ID gave me this number = don't know who it is cause the phone hung up as soon as answering machine picked up.....guess some telemarketer. ID said UTAH.

Repeatedly calls my cell phone at ungodly hours.  Really getting old.

They have been calling at least once a day for the last week.  We never pick up, no VM left.  We are on all DNC list.

Clled at 10;10 p.m.. Did not leave a message!

Called me at 8:45 pm

They called my cell phone 3 times tonight - once every hour.  Did not leave a voice mail and I did not pick up.

3 pm. One hour ago. Left no message on voice mail.

called repeatedly on a Saturday, left no messages

They have called me at least two times prior, but their number didn't show the first time.

8:35PM and I too received a call from this number on my cell phone.   I did not answer it and let it go to voice mail.  No message was left.  This is the first call I have received from this number.  I will be prepared if they call again.

Said they were calling from SSI conducting a survey. When I pointed out the time they hung up. If it was legit they would have at least apologized if not even bothering to call at 9:45 PM

Icalled the number back. The answering service said it was ssi they wanted to doo a servay
