This company has been calling me daily. Called again today and lady stated she was from Federal Financial Group looking for people to work in their insurance area. I told her I was on the Do Not Call List. She stated she was not calling me to sell something. I ask her " Aren't you soliciting me for job Opportunities?" She said Yes. I told her then you are in fact calling me to sell your company to me for a job. I told her that was a violation of the Do Not Call listing. I am not looking for a job, I never sent you my resume or filled out an application with you. How dare you search my information and call me without my consent. I asked she not call me again and since they have harnessed me for over a week and still continue, I am filing a complaint with State Do Not Call, FCC and FTC.

THey are calling me @ a business line! Claimed to be federal financial. Said my business was selected to win a free scratcher if I qualified. Said they were not selling anything. They said they received my phone# from a Co. that we bought Surgical Instruments from.....hung up after a few minutes into her speech.

I'm so tired of getting these calls at 3 in the morning & I must admit I love "Get A Real Job's" idea with waiting 2-3 seconds & use the horn lol ":) I finally had to learn to use the block calls on my phone it blocks their access. I am sitting here trying to work. I work a small office, and I am the only one here. Not all of our phone lines have caller i.d., so I have mistakenly answered two calls from these jerks. It's the thick accent asking the name of my company, and as I am replying that they are correct, they hang up on me. I immediately got on-line to check on the phone number, and I saw all of these complaints. Annoying.

The phone company used to get sued for acoustic shock from customers as late as 1950. Since then they have automatic noise suppressors installed for every line that keep the customers on both ends of call safe. ANY kind of loud noise will be suppressed! So that is a big waste of time..... Sorry.
Go to ebay and get a call blocker. They only call one time and you can block them. Some units block up to 100 callers. Also leave your Fax machine on and tell your friends that you will check the caller ID and get back to them.....

I always tell them that the"ll have to talk to the main office. I give them the phone number of the Ambulance chasers [ lawyers] that advertise on the T V. For some strange reason, I never hear from them again.

Claimed to be federal financial. Said my business was selected to win a free scratcher if I qualified. Said they were not selling anything. I hung up after a few minutes into her speech.

This number calls my home business 12-14 times a day. I never answered until today. Heavy foreign accent and wouldn't stop talking. I finally yelled "STOP!". She did and I told her to take my number off the company's computer call list. Registered on the Do Not Call list today and will wait my 31 days to file my complaint.

They are Federal Financial. see also notes for 385-229-3005. We have a home/business phone and they just called 4 times in 15 minutes. That's ridiculous!! I didn't answer, but I have to go to the phone and look at the id every time. I reported them to the FCC at

The Do Not Call list is a joke blissfully ignored by telemarketers and scammers. Calls go through complex computer paths that can't be traced. Many come from off-shore and you can bet they don't give a sh** about the DNC list.
They must be getting action somewhere or they wouldn't be in business which means there are dumba$$es out there who answer and get scammed.
I check caller id and don't answer if I don't know who is calling. Eventually they will go away only to return months or even years later.
The solution is educating people not to answer or not to get involved. Only then will they pack up their calling stations and go away.

I was expecting a phone call from someone, so I answered right away instead of looking at my Caller ID first. I should have hung up because when I said hello there was no one on the other line right away, but then w/o thinking I said "This is..." & gave my first name. All of a sudden a woman with a foreign accent repeated my name & started to make an inquiry that referenced the name of business I once created, but never made use of. As soon as I heard the name, I hung up on the woman immediately. When I looked at my phone company's calls received, there was no record of who had just called me, but when I looked at my cordless phone' Caller ID list, it was listed there. It showed "V7190311130055", followed by the phone #.
