I got a call from this number. Automated voice said press one if you wish to get an interest rate reduction on your credit card. I pressed one, got an operator. I asked which card this was one and the operator hung up on me.

Getting a series of calls from "Florida" on 305-758-9297, 305-672-6663, 386-409-8310, 561-482-7092, 386-409-8310.  All say the same thing - our credit card is fine, but they can offer us something better.

i was called by this number 1-386-409-8310. when i pressed 1 the man asked for my credit card number i asked why and cursing profoundly at me then hung up. i tried calling back anid the number was disconnected. Beware these are osama's pack mules trying to make money for there terrorist group do not give any info just hang up and report them to your local law enforcement agency.

I was called by 1-386-409-8310.  Recording suggested they had a way to reduce interest rates.  To press one.  Upon pressing one I got a live rep.  They asked a question on if I was interested & I apparently replied too investigativly.  They immediately hung up.  Tried to redile the number & it came back as disconnected.  Apparently they have a way to rig numbers not in service to avoid detection.  The number is out of Edgewater Florida.

I called & reported the number to the National do not call Registry at 1-888-382-1222.

I also reported the number to the National Fraud Hotline at 1-877-382-4357.  Just keep prompting until you get a live fraud rep.  They take your info & investigate.

I got a call from this number. I just recently bought a new car. Anyone know what company this is?? I am going to contact my dealer who sold me the car to see if I can find out who is doing this.

The call started with a recording about my auto warranty expiring. I got the press 1 option to speak to a rep. I pressed one and was connected to a man who asked me for the make and model of my car to which I responded that the calls they are making are illegal and were being reported. He hung up.

call came thru while indisposed, not sure who called, but when tried to redial, was informed number was disconnected, when checked on google.com, this advised from FL.  I hate when someone wastes my minutes on my cell for their own satisfaction.  Too bad this world is so full of nuts who try to take from you what they have no right to. My number is on the no calls list and that just doesn't seem to keep them from calling and waisting your minutes anyway. And, how can a call be made from a number that is disconnected?

I did exaqctly what Natalie Gray did.  When I said "What card is this?" the caller hung up.  Wonder if this will take me off their list?

Yep, got the same call a few minutes ago.  I simply hung up on them, and looked up the number (which brought me here).  I filed a complaint on the do-not-call website...everyone should do so.

Received a phone call on my cell regarding "my auto warranty".  When I pressed one and got a live operator, she hung up on me after I demanded to know what company was calling me.  I am reporting this incident to my local district attorneys office and recommend that others do the same.

I got the same call as reported above regarding lowering my interest rates. As soon as I asked the name of the company that was calling, I was hung up on.

I got a call from this number on my cell while I was as work so I didn't answer and they did not leave a message. Also I am on the do not call list so I shouldn't be getting calls like this.

I got a call from this number and had the same info as dana and natalie. I pressed one and was connected to someone named Todd. When i told him that i did not have 3,000 in credit card bills, he hung up on me. I tried to call him back telling him how RUDE he was and got a message that the number had been disconnected.

This is the worst kind of telemarketing. What can we do to put these people out of business?

I get calls from this number and ones similar to this on my work phone AND my cell phone on a regular basis.  It's an automated call initially telling you your car warranty is about to expire.  If you press one and try to get a live person to have your number removed, you're lucky if the person on the other end will actaully speak beyond "what is the year, make and model of your vehicle" without hanging up on you when you tell them to remove your number.  It's extremely annoying to say the least. And supposedly you don't have to register your cell phone number with the "do not call registry"???????

386-409-8310 - This is a scam.  These people call you telling you everything from your car warranty is about to expire to credit card debt relief.  They have even tried to say that the bank has made an error and wishes to credit your account.  DO NOT give them any information.  They ALWAYS have the wrong name on file and will ask you for your name and correct address.  DO NOT give it to them.  These people are phishers and should be strung up and left to rot in the desert sun!

I have been getting them as well -- they are more of a nuisance than anything. I am unsure of their scam-factor however. I am tryin to think of the agency that would have jursidiction over this. Would it be the FCC? onetheless, I have been getting these cals for about six months now -- each time the town names and number id different, but the message is always the same -- the credit card rates, the auto insurance....

I received a call at 12:56 pm and they left no message.  What is wierd is that my freind just got married in New Smyrna Beach, FL a month ago so we were there for a week.  Strange coincidence.

I got a call from this number around 1:43 p.m. but no message was lefted. I called the number back at around 2:04 and received a recording that the number had been disconnected and to contact my local directory assistance.

Got a call from this number at 7:05.  No message.  Won't be calling back, well maybe I will as I have this number registered with the do not call registry.  Will update later.

The call came in around 730pm ET. I was on the other line on my cell phone and picked up when I heard the call waiting kick in. I had been getting a lot of strange restricted calls on my cell phone all day so I thought this call may help solve why. When I picked up, the automatic message told me I only had a short time until my offer to lower my interest rate expires. Sounds even stranger to me than all of the restricted calls!

I just got the call and when I picked up, it told me that I "won a free cruise.  To claim my free cruise press 8 if not press 9"  or something to that effect.  I hung up, sounded odd.....

I received call, about lower credit rate, hit 1, so I did, and got rude little man, told me to get life, not sit and wait for someone to call me, so i could hit 1. Than he hung up, now what do I do, wait for someone else to call me

I just got a call at 5:50 from this same 1-386-409-8310 number. Something is not right. I did not answer and they left no message. I entered phone number in google and all of you came up. I am going to send Clark Howard an email on this.
