We care for handicapped children. They think when the phone rings, it is for one of them. This company calls almost 8 times a day and never leaves a message. We are constantly running to the phone only to have it be this number again. It is a great deal of explaining to the children. can SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP????
these people called me saying that they were with insight cable and wanted me to change my internet service but i did not do it. because when i checked with insight they don't have cable internet service here.

The number is a service company calling on behalf of your cable company trying to upgrade/change your cable service

I called this number back and it was associated with Evergreen Sales and Marketing. Apparently you can add your own number to their "internal" Do Not Call list, but it's probably just BS to verify they have a working number.
These stupid idiots have been calling me 8-10 times per night for the past couple weeks. I don't have caller ID and screen all my calls but the constant ringing is SO annoying! I'd turn my ringer off but don't want to miss real calls. This is harassment!! I'll never answer the phone so hopefully these dumb jerks will get the message.

I have cancelled my cable service within the last few months and have been getting calls from this company up to 5 times per day at first. I never answer the calls, so they have dwindled down to 1 time per day usually.
My caller ID shows the calls with different displays. Sometimes it will say ESM and the phone number, other times it will show up with just two numbers and no identification as to the company name.
Very aggrivating, needless to say.

1st what almost all comcast customer dose not realize is READ THE PAPER WORK YOU SIGN WHEN SERVICE IS INSTALLED because ins this paper work is you 1ST AND BEST DEFENSE in avoiding these types of calls there is a check box in this paper work that says CHECK HERE IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO RECEIVE PROMOTIONAL CALLS checking this box will keep you from getting these calls about 90 % of the time
2nd if you did not read your paper work and use the check box mentioned above regardless if you are on the national or state do not call list you will receive a call when you do simply ASK TO BE PUT ON THE INTERNAL DO NOT CALL LIST they are allowed to call you because you did not check the box mentioned above and therefore you have what is know as a working relationship with them asking to be put on internal list will clear this over sight
WHEN YOU ARE PLACED ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST YOU WILL BE TOLD THAT IT WILL TAKE 30 DAYS FOR YOUR NUMBER TO BE POSTED AND PROCESSED IN THEIR SYSTEMS AND AFTER 30 DAYS NO MORE CALLS
3rd most phone companies offer CALL REJECTION SERVICES and same for cell phones (i use mr call block for android my self and my phone never rings unless i know the person calling)
4 th and i realize this may make me the bad guy here but answer the phone it only takes at most 5 mins of your time and listen to what they have to say it MAY SAVE YOU A FEW DOLLARS everyone thinks that all phone sales are shady but not always so for example would you rather spend 10 dollars to go see a movie in theater OR spend 10 dollars and get a whole month of movies ready to what when ever you are if you don't like what they have to say you can always say no

I"m not sure who it is because they never leave a message. But they call all the time during the day.
I first received the 1-800-983-6039 with a promotion...because I had received bad service from Charter. I was offered 19.95 a month service with free installation. I then was to receive a call from 386-267-3421 to set up the deal.
I called the 800-983-6039 an put me on the do not call list. I waited for the 386-267-3421 and told them I did not want the deal and was going to remain with my current provider.
My question is "they called me just minutes after my computer shut down normally when I was blogging...and Charter appeared to ask me questions about my mote um. Odd...yes how did they do that???

I'm on the no call list but they still call.
I called back the number and they said, "Thank you for calling cable tv confirmation. Please hold and your call will be answered." I waited 30 seconds and the next message told me they are experiencing delays and to please hold. I hung up. It uses up minutes on my phone. I don't know why they are calling, I just got my cable hooked up last week.

Being on the DO NOT Call list means that they have to follow specific guidelines and according to their website they are touting that they do. Pffffft! Let them know that they are not following those guidelines and to QUIT Calling US! I plan to let them know that if this continues we will be turning them in for harassment as well as breaking the laws.

I keep getting calls from this company that comes up as cell phone call. They never say anything an call almost tens times if not more a day. I dont want their calls and have answered but when I answer they hang up.
Talked to my cell company they said that the only time a local distance access code is needed is if they are trying to do a international call. So find out if your phone number has been used for something, I did. Luckily it hasn't and they are now going to be checking for that number.

I've received the same calls as everyone else and my suggestion is to send letters to the company because they have to have a listed address that threatens to not only report them to the Better Business Bureau, but to sue them if they keep calling. I'm sick and tired of these calls and the Do Not Call list has to be renewed for the upcoming year for it to be valid if you signed up for it the first year offered.
Has called several times from 7am-11pm. When I finally answered a call, a woman simply said, I see you have Time Warner Cable digital tv and phone. I said yes. She hung up! No calls since. Not sure what that was all about but if they call again, I'll file a complaint.
