Amazing how harrassing they are considering its law enforcement

They call constantly.. I have not and will not pick up the call. However, is there any way to get them to actually stop calling?

Someone from this # called this morning to my home, husband answered, told them I was not there and asked if he could be of any help..they promptly hung up without saying anything! By other comments, it looks like I'm in for a hassle from these callers!! We ARE on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY !!

Two calls today.  When I answer no response and than a hang up.

They call many times a day and sometime weekends.  They have several numbers and they either hang up or ask for my husband.  They wont stop calling. Does anyone know how to stop them? arielcorrea444@yahoo.com

I have recieved many calls everyday from them and I have not talked to anyone.  No one is on the other end of the line everytime I answer.  I called the number back to find out who it was and sure enough the PAL, but just an automated service.  They have called multiple times a day for the past week.

We've been getting these at least once often twice a day. When we do answer, which isn't very often any more, they simply hang up.

When you dial the number it claims to be out of service. But it doesn't sound like the phone companies recorded out of service message. Maybe if we all just kept calling them and tie up all their lines?

Have received calls from 'SOFAPAL' previously.  The # appearing on my caller ID is different from the one noted above, but they have called 3x in the past two weeks.  This # is a land line originating in south Florida, rather than Palatka/Lake City

they have called at least twice a day. they will not tell my husband who they are or what they want.

They have been calling our number for months and not leaving a message.  They called and asked for my husband by his first name and hung up when I said he was not home.  They would not identify who they were.  They called again and finally got my husband.  They said they were from the Policemens Athletic League.  My husband gave them our credit card number and I called immediately to put a hold on the card.  It is very annoying and I am contacting the FCC since we are also on a "Do Not Call List".

They just called a short time ago tonight looking for a donation, but they were polite - are they legit?

South FL Police Athletic League... they do a lot of good in the schools and after schools programs.  However, they are using a room full of people to raise the money and I don't give information to them.  I don't at a local level.  That said... I am also on the D.C.L. but it is my understanding if you donated in the past, or if you are a business, or if they are a non-profit, that they are allowed to call.  Don't know if that is true.

They call 3 or 4 times a day, every day

I am receiving repeated calls from 941-866-2336.  I too am on the Do Not Call list.

They called me from 941-866-2336.  The "Do Not Call" list seemed to work for a while, but lately I am getting solicitation calls just like before I put myself on the list.  I guess they figured out it was toothless.

I received a call from SOFAPAL today, again.  They call several times each week.  Today the phone call came from 813-464-2373.  They are continually rude when they do not get to speak to the owner/manager.

Got a call from the 305 number.  I actually spoke to someone once.  They were trying to tell me they're from teh South Florida Police Athletic League.  I've tried to find information on them and it doesn't exist.  Of course, there are great PALs throughout the tri-county area, but I think this is a scam.

Constant harrassing of our telephone line especially at our peak business hours. Again the same aggressive calls asking for my husband, I have rejected on both our behalves yet the calls increase. I am on a no call list. This organization should not be calling me.

keeps calling never leaves a message - is calling early 8am on weekends

who every call me for bla bla ..donations or vacation pack or what ever.
its great that i'm from europe i start talking my own language on the phone ...nonstop...
they give up on me... see start speaking other language with them.. really  works.. no english...no english

SO  YOU GET A CALL FROM THEM, MAKE SURE  YOUR # IS REGISTERD WITH GOVT AT DO NOT CALL REGISTRY AT THE ABOVE WEB SITE THEN FILL A COMPLAIN.

I received a call from SOFAPAL 386-538-7514 today.  He asked for me by my given name.  When I asked "Who is calling?"  He hung up.  Is there a way to stop these people?

They call at least once a week. I never answer calls with 800 numbers or unknown ID...they never leave a message.

this is the South Florida Police Athletic League (SOFAPAL). my son played against them a few years ago.

Got a call from SOFAPAL 305-890-1361.  They called my business.  I answered and they hung up.

Very rude-and unprofessional-they keep calling and asking for my father--I have told them that he recently passed away-but they continue to call

Ok-- I called them and got a customer service number: 1-800-299-1895. It is completely automated so you don't have to talk w/ anyone personally, press #9, listen to the message and press #1 to confirm your telephone number to be added to their DO NOT CALL list. -Your number cannot be private or blocked. Lets see if this works, I just did it an hour ago. I'm getting very annoyed.

Multiple calls from SOFAPAL 1 386 538 7514 on caller ID; I don't answer. 538 belongs to Alltel Cellular in northcentral Florida.

I just a call from the same number. I didn't answer but I think it is for donations. They have called before and are very rude when you say you cannot help.
