Have any of you considered calling this number back... The company markets for timeshare companies. All ya have to do is see a presentation ... I won a vacation for 2 to bahamas .... A lady scratched off the explorer, but couldn't pay the taxes. So all of you who didn't call back    THANK YOU!! I got a prize because you all are fools haha!

Since 800 numbers are not free (the company sitll has to pay for the calls) I wonder if it is worth having everyone call them just for the satisfaction of costing them something?  Probably not, but it's a thought.

Just got the same message as Karen above - even the same "claim number." Guess that pretty much settles it...

I'd like to know how they got my cell number, though - and what makes them think they can call it.

I have had this appear several times on my caller ID when I return home from work with no messages on the machine, but today took the cake.  Called at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon!  Asked for Mrs. T____, I told them there was no such person and that flustered them.  After a pregnant silence I hung up.  I'd like to know how they are circumventing the "DO NOT CALL" list since we have our phone registered.

I got the same message with a different phone# to call: 1-866-346-2659 giving me the claim# wb764. I had supposedly won a Ford Explorer or $25,000.  Funny thing, this is an emergency only cell phone and only my sister in CA has the number.  Someone else mentioned they lived in Virginia Beach, my cell phone is also a area code 757 number.  I did call back, only because I'm actually short a car right now, but after no identification whatsoever on the recording I decided it must be a scam.  I found these postings online while I was on hold.

Same thing for me.  Someone named "Julia" left a voice mail message on my work phone stating she was with Quincy Mktg. Claims Ctr. and they had been trying to call me a while.  Gave me a case number "TN1507" and stated she had "good news" for me regarding a brand new Ford Explorer or $25,000 and I needed to call because it was my last chance.  Since I received the message on my work phone, I was not able to get the caller I.D. number.  I did call it back and had to listen to music for a while and just as someone picked up, they hung up.

The return number was the same...800-918-4224.

These scam artists need to be stopped!!!!

Same story. They called muy office at 6:30pm. 12/5/2007. Is there anyone stupid enough to actually return the call? In this world ther is "NO FREE LUNCH".

Hi this is Annabelle from the Awards Claim Center. We've been trying to reach you for a while regarding our Pormotion to receive a Ford Explorer or $25000.00 cash.. I have good news for you, so please call me as soon as possible at 1-800-918-4224. This will be your last and final notice. Thank You.

They called requesting donation to the Policemens Athletic league using credti card.

Same as above only rcvd it at home from caller ID 434-878-9976. Guess they are using a different # now since everyone is onto them. Did not return call, of course.

Same thing...got a claim number from Lindsay about a "free Ford Explorer or $25,000 cash".  I didn't even bother calling back.

I answered call and no one was on the other end.

I have had two calls so far, each time they hang up after I answer. My phone # is non-published. Very irritating!

They just called at 10:47 am, didn't leave a message but managed to wake my son up from his nap in the process.

Looks like they are working on WA residents now... of course just like many others here. They called my office phone directly at 6:13 last night and left a voicemail saying it was urgent I call them back. They said I had possibly won a new ford explorer or 25K cash... Thought bogus did quick search. Found this site... Wonder how long they will keep this up.

I just got a phone call from 386-538-7515. I trird to call this number back I thought it might be important and I got the phone has no service has be disconnented and they just called me seconds before.

Called my business phone at 10:00 today, 10/5/07.  I did not recognize the area code so I let my voice mail answer it.  When I checked it, there was a portion of an obviously recorded message advising me to call 800-918-4224 and reference HH592.  There were a lot of voices in the background so this is some sort of sweatshop, mass telephoning group.  This is the second call to my office in as many days and one to my residence.  They must be working South Carolina hard.

This 386-538-7515 just called my work nextel # and it rang twice and hung up.  This is an unlisted #, how would they get it?  I never use this phone, only for work and then just on occassion.

Marcy from the Awards Claims Center left a voice message on my direct line at work stating they are trying to contact me regarding a promotion to receive a Food Explorer or $25K in cash. Asked that I call back at 1-800-918-4224 with my claim #. The number displayed on my my caller ID is 386-538-7515. The message was left 10/3 at 4:37 PM pacific time.

"Last and final notice" had me worrying. Good thing I Googled first...

Received a call and no one responded???...

I received this call yesterday. Heard the last half of the message 6-918-4224. Said "6-918-4224 and your claim number is WB764. This is your last and final notice, it is very important that you give us a call as soon as possible.Thank you, um, and have a great day". Had me worried I was missing something with my insurance company. When I called the number on my call id 386-538-7515, I got the Message "were sorry a long distance access codes is required for the number you have dialed, please dial your call with the access code". I googled the number and found this website.

I just received this message this afternoon, and since things that sound too good to be true, almost always are, I googled the number that came up on my caller ID - I had almost the exact same message that Benjamin above did; A woman named Carmen from the Awards Claim Center told me I won a brand new Ford Explorer, and that I needed to call an 800# as soon as possible and give my confirmation # HH592.
I did not call back.
