Repeated robo calls about car warrantes & credit cards

This company calls me everyday. When I pickup no answer, when I call back, says disconnected.

they call every day, even though im registered on the do not call list. and it says press 1 to lower your intrest on ur credit card. i dnt even have a credit card! so i press 1 to tell them to stop calling, and when i tell them to take me off their list the hang up, every time! its so annoying

These people keep calling me and once I asked what company and why they are calling they quickly hang up....someone in authority needs to put a stop these sharks who are using the economic problems to STEAL from people.

A female voice ask me if I wanted to lower the interest rate on my credit cards.  When I ask what card are we talking about they hung up.  Be careful giving out personal info over the phone if you do not know who the caller is tell them you will call back.

Have been getting this call for weeks now. A robo call re: reduce credit card interest. Call comes to a business phone with caller Id. Strangest thing; I press 1 get put on hold, put call on hold to look up on this web site, take off hold and hear what sounds like a busy call center, but no answer to my "Hello". As I watch my phones' screen the nunmber seems to be counting up from 3110 to 3200 and then disconects. Might be my phone recording length of call.

Here is a new one to try on these morons---I told them my identity has been stolen and all my cards have been affected. I had to cancel them all. And that I was afraid they were the ID thefts! They didn't know what to say !!!!

I am ticked off!! I see this number ALL the time, so I picked it up, pressed 1 to speak to someone, said to take me off their list... She hung up on me mid sentence!! tried to call them back, disconnected!! UNBELIEVABLY ANNOYING!!!!!!  Makes me think about getting rid of my land line!!!

you are being called by Mr Ran David Barnea---four days ago they were using the telephone number 2394983522.  The website heatherwithacoountservices.com tells how he works.  Every few days these guys use a different telephone number---and all of them are bogus.  They use a loophole in the law that allows them to leave fake telephone numbers on answering machines and caller id's so the public can't track them down.  Reportedly Mr Barnea has a condo in Boca Raton Florida at 21955 Cypress Drive, apt 48F.  This guy has no respect for our privacy, so we should return the favor and plaster his name and address all over the internet!

Lawsuits target Missouri firm

Among the likely culprits are a group of auto-warranty service companies in Missouri, particularly National Auto Warranty Services, also known as Dealer Services, at 100 Mall Parkway in Wentzville, Mo., according to the Better Business Bureau.

The company was sued this year by Verizon Wireless for being behind an "an illegal telemarketing campaign," according to court documents. Florida-based Explicit Media Inc. was also named in the suit, filed July 14 in federal court in New Jersey.

Verizon said the companies are responsible for nearly 3 million unsolicited calls to Verizon subscribers throughout the country, made in violation of Federal Trade Commission telemarketing regulations as well as the Do Not Call registry law.

The companies used "spoofing," a method of masking information, to hide outgoing call numbers, a violation of the Telemarketing and Consumer Fraud and Abuse Prevention Act, court documents said.

They call me about once a month with a recorded message, something about my credit being in serious trouble. Now that I just lift the phone up and put it down immediately they are calling more often. Once I pressed "one" to talk to a live rep and I asked him what I had to do to get them to stop calling. He laughed, called me an idiot and hung up. I have been online looking to see if there is anything I can do and that is how I found this site. I love all your comments. I have been reporting each and every call on the national DO NOT CALL list and of course nothing is done. It would be nice if some former disgruntled employee would come forward and expose this scam. Would 60 MINUTES be interested in a story like this? What about local Florida TV stations?

Called my phone as unknown caller. Left no message when maching picked up.

Numerous calls from this number are driving me crazy.

I received a call from this ph#, & I decided to answer the call & I heard a recording that said something about my credit card.  I hung up.  I tried to call them back & received an error message that told me that I had reached a ph# that had been disconnected or was no longer in service.  I did a reverse look-up on this ph#, & it comes back to someone named "Charmaine L. Loncala", who lives at 135 Lucky Dr. in Ormond Beach, FL. 32176.  I looked this address up on google maps & it comes back to what appears to be a residential house. Interesting, huh?  The ph# appears to be a land line.

A credit card scam, calls almost every week

It seems that when I report a number here, that I get MORE calls.  Is this site a scam?

Now this number is calling and there is no answer when I pick up.  It's ANNOYING and I'm on the OFFICIAL NO CALL LIST.  I am having the Attorney General check this out.  Everyone should look up NO CALL list procedures and the Attorney General in there own states.  This is illegal FCC abuse.

Got a call from this number this morning, the message was about my credit card, I pressed 1 and a guy came on the phone and asked if I was interested in consolidating my credit cards, so I said: "so this is a solicitation call", and the guy said: "yes, because you are a moron". I was shocked and then I replied: "YOU are a moron" and hung up. I cannot believe this!!

Mr Ran David Barnea owns several properies in the west boca raton area of florida and has several companies that leave false numbers on caller ids.  law enforcement complaints are totally useless.  try to get past and current employees of his companies to post the home addresses of the comapny officials on the internet.

They have been calling evert week for months.  i tried twice to report them.  when I submit a complaint, I am told that my number and theirs is tyhe same.  NOT SO

They call at least 10 times a week. I'm going to start answering them and play games with thier heads. It's getting really old really quick....
