I got that message to Name.....I moved yada yada.....that 386 # is in volusia county FL!! I have no idea how they got my number my phone is a NY area code. Yea its creapy! But some1 knows what they are doing. Who ever sees this "IF YOU DONT KNOW WHO DA %&^* IT IS DONT ADD THEM AS A FRIEND THEY CAN ACCESS ALL KIND OF INFO ABOUT YOU!!! If you dont believe me.....google yourself I bet you  will find something on yourself.....now thats creapy!!! & for all of you that don't know Volusia County FL, it is Daytona Beach area!

I researched the number further and found out it is located in Florida. It is a Cellco Partnership doing Business as Verizon Wireless so I was right. It is sending these text messages out to get Verizon money. F*** this s**t! Don't text back.
Cannot report because:

there is nothing to report, because there is nothing illegal about a cellco partnership. the term "cellco partnership dba Verizon Wireless" is short for Cellular phone Company Partnership doing business as Verizon Wireless.

in some cases the local exchanges are shared between more than one phone/cellphone company, hence the partnership. in other cases it may not have been an original Verizon number, but they now own the number due a recent aqquisition (like Altel Wireless for example) where they are considered to be in a partnership until the aqquisition is complete.

either way, there is nothing illegal about the partnership itself. and since you gave no other information about your issue there isn't much else anybody can do for you. if you're receiving harassing phone calls from a number registered to verizon wireless then you can try calling verizon to file a complaint, or call your phone carrier and have the number blocked. if it's a telemarketer calling you then you can file a complaint with the FTC.

I got the same text and didnt know who the person was but they had my cell number.

My boyfriend recieved the message as well, "Name...I moved, so I creaded a facebook to keep in touch w/ everyone.. add me its under my email rachael.livingston86@gmail.com Honestly I have  theory that the phone companies sent these out to make everyone send text messages back to this fake person so that the companies can get profit. It's evil but could happen.

I didn't do anything. Bogus scam texting now..don't people have anything else better to do than do stuff like this?

Got the same message just like everyone else. Same scenerio just different addresses. Mine said bri.annie86@gmail.com. I have verizon and they also used my first name. I'm going to to follow suit and do what "HARRASSED" and file a police report. Everyone else should do the same and maybe they'll catch the little b*****d who's doing this.

I got the exact same one, name and all. I did the reverse look up and it said the call came from florida but u had to pay to get more info. Glad to know its not just me because they used my first name too! SOOOO creepy.

I got the same message the other day.. They also used my first name in the text message.  I made a complaint with my cell phone company who advised to make a police report and the cell phone company has blocked the number from my phone.  This person is a Verizon customer...from Daytona Beach Fl.  This is HARASSMENT and the person can be charged with HARASSMENT as the number can be traced back the the person very easily!!  Anyone with the same issue should have the number blocked and a police report filed.
