I've been scammed...it seems they are keeping track of people who are desperate for money - and then they scam you for money you don't already have. They called me and I answered because I had put in for a loan. I had another call earlier that was legitimate, so I just made an a** of myself and assumed this one was legitimate, as well. Boy do I feel dumb! I'm letting my bank know immediately and shutting down that account. The bad thing is - they have all of my personal info!!!

Essy, this also happened to me and I don't feel like I am an idiot or anything else.  I was an unfortunate victime of the Target scandal where all of my personal information was compromised. Shortly after, I was contacted by these same people who already had my information at their disposal. I was a sitting duck. I put a fraud alert on my account and two weeks later a bogus charge came through again for $87 for some other off the wall company.  Luckily, the bank stopped payment and the account was closed.  Unfortunately in the society we live in today, if we pay with credit/cards, we are putting ourselves at risk. These hackers obtain this information, withdraw money - sometimes successfully, sometimes not and most of the times they are not caught.  We just have to be vigilant and monitor our bank accounts daily and credit reports. For all of those affected, I am sincerely sorry and hope you are able to recover.

I just just got scammed! s***, I gave all my info. because I was told by a person named David Smith which should have been a sign not to give all my private info. Because he spoke lousy LOUSY English and spoke way to  fast! After he got all my info he hung up on me because I asked him for a License # or Address.  Does this mean since they have all my banking info. will they take money out of my acct.?  I feel like such an idiot.  And I get phone calls all day long to the point I have to shut my phone off!   S***!!  What I do ???

I don't feel sorry for those that got scammed. Why would you give your personal information plus bank accts. to a complete stranger. Have some common sense. They've called me numerous times. I always ask for company number, customer service agent ID number, name of company. They always refuse to give infor and would hang up on me. I never thought in a million years, someone could be so stupid to fall for lame a** scams like that. But after reading some of the comments, idiot people do exist.

You might not even have to wait until tomorrow, see if your bank has a 24hr customer service line (check the back of your debit card or the bank website) and speak with them as soon as possible

I got a call from holidayphonecash.com and was promised a loan of $1,500.00. I was to check my e-mail for loan papers to sign. There were no papers or e-mails from them. They gave me a number that was wrong, 8183948355. Apparently other folks have had calls from them, too. They are calling for moneyplussaver.com and will charge your checking account $89.00, then $19.95/month, if you don't contact your bank. I decided to have all ACH transactions cancelled on my account in case I don't have the names exactly right. They are horrible people preying on those that don't have much money to start with, those that are actually in need of the loan!

Willow's advice is good one, make sure you get to your bank and change your info. One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!
