have asked to be taken off thier list numerous times and they still call

THE COMPANY NAME IS PATRIOT SECURITY, THEN CHANGED TO TCI SECURITY. THE OWNER IS MATT TUCCI OF FOSTER RI, MANAGER CRYSTAL TANNER-DIQUINIZIO OF WEST GREENWICH, RI. THEY HAVE HAD THIS SCAM FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS, THEY GET YOUR NAME FROM SLIPS FILLED OUT AT THE MALL, THEN WHEN YOU SAY NO THEY NEVER THROW THEM AWAY AND JUST CALL YOU OVER AND OVER. THERE IS NO FREE SECURITY SYSTEM, THEY GET PAID BIG BUCKS FOR YOU SIGNING A CONTRACT AND GIVE YOU JUNK EQUIPMENT. BECAUSE THEY SAY "SELECTED" AND NOT THE WORDS "YOU WON" THEY GET AWAY WITH IT, IT'S A AWFUL SCAM!

I was supposed to work there. I ran a background check on their regional sales manager. He himself has a wrap sheet!!!

How do you get these people to stop calling? They have been calling for over a year now. I have asked them to remove my name from their call list many times. Today when they called, they identified themselves as VMS alarms, and I again asked her to remove my name from the call list. The lady then got very snippy stating that this was the first time she had called, and asked me what the name of her company was. She then stated that no, it was actually a local energy provider calling, not VMS. Ugh - I hung up.

These people are out to rip you off ,  report them to the FCC ,  just type FCC into your search engine and download their PDF complaint form ,  fill it out and mail it.   Also contact your phone company.
Hopefully the FEDS will find these thieves and lock them up.

I got the call as well, with the saftey survey about fire exstingishers and smoke dectors....sounds like the first call is to get some initial info (are you a home owner).  Then Steve from RI says he is with VMS Alarms 401-343-3388 or 401-305-2077.  His speech was very professional and I almost had a tech out to my house this week to install the alarm.  After doing a little bit of research on the internet about MONITRONICS ALARMS I am glad I pushed back the install.  I am now going to cancel.   Sounds like the company has a pretty terible reputation with harassing people and makes it near impossible to get out of the contract after filling the contract obligations.

4011234321 called me today, I didn't answer, and no message on the machine. Caller ID says name unavailable.

Lady with heavy accent saying I, along with 9 others, won a GE security system. told her already had one and no thanks then I hung up.  Had to say hello three times before she said anything - I know, I should have hung up right away.

I received a caller from this scam low class people, prior to this my husaband received a "unknown" call a female with a heavy accent was on the line claming to be GE my husband hung up on her, then we recived a call from Rhode Island call, they did not leave a message, so they felt now that we spoked with them, they have permission to keep calling us, well I just reported them to the Do Not Call list website since my number is registered, so if you are on the DNC list report them, they will investigate them, the more reports the better to bring these scum bags down.

I didn't answer this call but wanted to tell everyone that my caller ID read "asterisk".

just now received call from 401-123-4321 5-14-09 12:41PM as i was checking here on line to see who it was, picked up call but didn't say anything, female voice said "hello" & immediately hung up, did they know i was checking?

Called @ 12:55p on May 7th.  Caller ID said "Rhode Isla call".  Somehow I find that hard to believe.

Called me said he was from GE and wanted to know how I was doing. I said I'm on the DNC and he just laughed in my face. I wonder has anyone else gotten this and also ADT customers?

I just received a call from this 401-123-4321 @ 1:02 this afternoon. Caller was asking if I had smoke detectors in my house. I said "you can take me off you call list". Caller responded with "F-yourself" and hung up!!!

Call to cell phone.   3 calls yesterday to land line.  Company claims to be in Providence, RI, but numbers they give are New York Area code:  (646) 367-8179, (646) 367-8159, and (646) 413-1433.  Depending on if the 'supervisor' is talking, company is spelled Monitronics, or Monotronics.  All have thick foreign (east european) accents and heavy boiler room calling sounds in the background.  Company claims to be official General Electric representative, and I've been 'selected as one of 9' people to get a 'free' GE Home Security System, which of course has a monthly fee.  They are ignoring federal and state Do Not Call lists, and argue they 'aren't selling anything' since it's 'free'.  This has all the earmarks of an identity theft scam since they're wanting personal information to complete the deal.

Caller claims he is "Ron from VMS Alarms" in Providence, RI, telling me I won a free GE alarm system.  The trick with these guys, if you have the time, is to keep them talking for as long as possible.  Ask lots of questions. It really messes up their calls to sales ratio. Since they use random dialers, these callers don't know who you are unless you tell them.  They're probably calling from out of the country anyway and could care less if you're on a "no-call" list. It's time to turn the tables on these scam artists.

I get calls at least once a day. From  Rhode Island Sure it's from Rhode Island Sounds like India to me. Last night I blew a air horn in their ear!
