Return call number of 855-223-6376 - Same person, same story:

Just got a call from my sister who stated that she and my step mom both received a call from a Robert Wilson with the "Federal Tax Lien Division" saying that I had listed them as a reference (false) and that I was in serious trouble with legal actions pending. Robert also left a voice mail on my office line stating that that there was a pending case against me and to contact them by Friday otherwise it will be forwarded to the local district attorney. I could be wrong but isn't it HIGHLY illegal to impersonate any persons in law force and especially a federal entity? There was no mention of who EXACTLY he was calling on behalf of other than to say "cases have been reported against you".

I know what is on my credit report and have completed certified mailings requesting the true standing of any debts therein.

I contacted the IRS directly. The rep stated that no one from the IRS has attempted to contact me and there is NO action pending against me. I gladly handed over the contact information for "Mr. Wilson's" to the IRS. Apparently there is a massive RASH of these types of companies and scams going around. PLEASE take a moment to report your findings to the short form with the FTC at least. The IRS I think will be more prone to a response as they are the ones being impersonated.

I got a call from this number also 516-204-0255. He left a really long message on my voice mail after I hung up on him. Saying He didn't appreciate me hanging up in his face that he was trying to explain to me who he was that He was with some investigation company and that I had three complains against me. And that he was going to ruin my Name and He was going to keep harassing me and that he was going to make me lose my job ect, ect. And he had  my personal information my job number where I work at The last four of my social.
I'm glad that I didn't erase this message Because I'm going to send it to the authorities.

Yeah he told me that he was sending the police after me and I will do jail time. I told him to bring it on then. I'll be waiting. I don't fear man for what can they do unto me? Not a damn thing! Then he lost his cool I just hung up and traced the call immediately.

I have been getting this phone messages about a person with a accent about some commission. (I can't understand him very well)  The first call , he started off yelling over the phone about getting a lawyer, then he went another direction saying he is an officer, talking slower to sound official. I figured this is a scam, they call about four or five times a day, I don't answer it. I figure they would get the hint I know,  its a scam and stop calling.

I got calls from some foring guy claiming to be mark something.

Well I finialy told him. I know you're not the FTC and you're not getting a god dam cent from me. He hung up
I then wen to the pay phone and prank called him back asking him if he ciccumsized the pope. Also asked him if I could have sex with his daughter for 50 cent

I am having fun with this. Last night he called agian. I told him I know you're a scam artist and you're not really the FTC and you're NOT getting a god dam cent from me.
He hung up and didn't call back
I went to the pay phone this morning and called him. Asked him stupid questions such as did he ciccumsize the pope. And if he sell 2% milk and if so why is it only 2% i want to know what the other 98% of the milk is.
I am having a blast messing with this guy.
Maby I'll call him agian and say something like I'll give your daughter $1 if I can have sex with her.
Ya I admit this is childish behavior the 12 year olds do. Thoe I am having fun. The more I tie him up the less he can rip off other people.

Thoes people are NOT the FTC.
What happens is that 1/2 a** lagit lending componies from some foring country deposit money into your bank account.
I closed down my account so they couldn't get it back.
Now some foring guy who claims to be officer Mark something called me. I finaly returned his message after a coupple days. Then he gives me some b***s*** case number. Then he tells me sned a money order from Walgreens or CVS. Call me back when you get thier I will walk you threw the steps. I said I would call him back in a coupple hours when I got thier just to shut his a** up
Then 3 hours later he called me left a voice saying if you don't answer the phone I will send the police to your house.
 Right he's planning to send the police to some ramdon address that I made up that he thinks I actually reside at. Sure what ever.

Officer" Robert Wilson also just called me twice. i owed owed on payday loan. he had indian accent  got pissed off when i told him that he was a fraud and call was a scam. said  i would  be served with papers in 2-3 business days. when i hung up he called back cursing me out for hanging up the phone.

Starting getting a call from Jason Wood from the Fed. Trade Com. Thick Indian accent. Blocked number on cell phone but they have my work number. GRR>>>>> This wacko needs to be stopped harassing people!!!!!!!!!!

For sure, I'd file a police report and contact the ftc, possibly my telco carrier.

This man called me and told me to vulgar sexual things to him. He has now even left a vm telling me to do things to him and stated my address and said he will be here to f*** me.   There has to be a way to stop these people!

Got a call from a man w/ a thick accent, was hard to understand but from the lil i did he advised for me to call back or they will take force action against me. I have no idea who this is but from reading reviews its a scam

I got a call from this number a few minutes ago.  He was very difficult to understand.  Once I told him that I did not know the person for whom he was asking, he went into great detail about all of the sexual acts that he would take with my wife/ mother/ sister/ daughter.  That's a tad unusual for these types of calls

I have gotten the same calls on my cell phone and my work phone.  I will be contacting my local police.

These people need to be in jail, when I told them I was reporting them to the local DA in RI the guy starting yelling and said he was coming to my home in Ohio? I dont live in Ohio :-) However, I can just think if he called some old person and scared them into paying, this scam is just wrong and must be stopped.

Just had (3) calls in a row from a Robert Wilson of the Federal Trade Commission.   Could not understand what he was saying.    He was rude.   How do they keep using this very same number, they are scaring the heck out of people.

Same issue as above.  Robert Wilson called me and I've also heard from John Smith (real inconspicuous).  Spread the word that it's a scam and report it to your local authorities to make them aware.

Same issue Office Jack. Its a bunch of nonsense. It is an extortion call. I called an Attorney and he advised me not to listen to any nonsense.

I have been getting harassed from them for about having a loan through h and r block stating I have allegations against me.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well man states he is nathan brown with federal trade commission and I have committed fraud and will be arrested if my self and attorney don't call him back I have called back you bet lol and they get mad and hang up on me when I ask questions you can't even understand what they are telling you the accent is so bad. I blocked there number on my cell will be contacting state attorneys office to report they have also bothered me at work wrong.

Robert Wilson says that he is with the Federal Trade Commission.  False.  Take the time to report it to the FTC 1-877-382 4357 .  Complaints go a long way.  Report it on line, to the FTC, anywhere possible.  Do not give any information, don't verify anything, keep the conversation to a "hang up",
