Ive got a call from then jan.7and 8 saying the samething they even went on one of my old jobs that i havent work there for years i guess tryin serve me sum papers i guess and when i called they said i owe them 305 dollars from some payday loans like really who those things like that and then they said they polices from mississippi came lookin for me

I've received multiple calls, all coming from different area codes, but giving the same case number and return number...
401-223-3254.  Turns out the are scammers using scare tactics trying to collect money for a payday loan I took out and paid off years ago.  Luckily I saved the documentation proving that the loan was paid.  
Don't fall for their scam!!  Ask for proof of what they are trying to collect, because they don't have any!!

I have also been getting these calls for over a year now. They are low life's because they know they are breaking the law by saying what they say. Unfortunately I doubt they will every be arrested and charged with a crime unlike in Houston tx where within the past year or so three people were arrested for doing the same thing. Turns out two of them were convicted cons and the third had an arrest warrent out on her for (surprise surprise) credit card abuse. Good look trying to catch these people cause there smart enought to use devices that produce fake phone numbers on your caller Id. And I'm sorry but I'm not wasting my time reported them to the federal trade commission or adding the numbers or reporting them to the do not call list cause they are a joke. I'm going to try and either report them to the texas state attourneys office then hopefully something could get done with these losers.

Just got the same message like everyone else,They are a debt collector agency..They sure are not gettn the job done,They called once before in Oct from same number but claim to be in Al,They ask for your address to Summions you why would they ask they should already have it..I wish they would just stop calling

I had about 5-6 calls from this woman named by Courtney. It sounded like last name is Haileur but not sure to spell but anyway she said exactly the same as all you guys mentioned. But she said 2 charges against me instead of 3 or 4 or 5 etc... I already knew this is scammers playing around to look for weak individuals I never responded to the caller but every time they call, they will give you a different number so I googled. It's all over the state. At the beginning I was so upset but now I just ignore it. FBI them don't do nothing.They've got bigger fish to fry than a ittle squid.

Its a scam when I called the number back and asked them to send me info to validate what the say the say they can not but tell me if I want to take care of it I would have to do it with either credit card or bank account total scam

Have been receiving calls from these scammers for 6 months now.  First # to call back was a FL #?.now I'm getting the Rhode Island # to call back.  REALLY annoying!  Got 2 this week!! Most have been from a woman though the first one with the "new" RI # was a guy.  They claim that 2 charges have been filed against me in conjunction with my SS#.  Not to mention that they have my first name wrong in the computer pre-recorded portion of the call.  Then they say to call a # back and ask to speak to the legal department.
How do we make these stop??!!!  And I REALLY hope nobody has fallen for this and paid out the $.  

Got a call like this for my hubby..we did call the attorney generals office and they told us to just ignore because it's a scam..they cannot threaten you like that it's illegal!

I got the same call today saying i had two fraudlent charges against my name and social security ,if i didnt call asap my rights would be forfeited and the summons would be sent to my home or work, this is the second one in the last few months the first one was from another number , this one was from a lady as well, I hope they catch whoever is doing this, they need to work real jobs not scarring and smamming people.

These ppl have used different phone numbers. When I block them they call from another state. They say the same thing over this past year, about once a month. Thx for sharing.

good to know everyone has heard the same crap as I have received the voice-mail not too long ago luckily I have the number blocked so it'll go straight to voice mail we really need to handle these scammers!!  I believe since I am a Police Officer I am going to give these scammers a call right now!  Take care everyone.

I've dealt with these fools personally and now they call my office looking for someone else that doesn't even work here.  I bought an air horn and called them back. When dude answered I gave him a little taste of my annoyance.  Too bad it's a long distance call or I'd call that number every two minutes throughout the day.  It's a scam.  You don't owe money.  Don't get worked up about it.  I promise you.  :)

Calling saying fruad issue on a debt I paid years ago. Rude and will not give no info of there company or address.

This is the 5th time in 2 weeks that this Lady has called me from this number, claming that i had to charges agest my account, and that I would be served at place of work or home, 1st of all i dont have an account of any short right now. Total scam, dont play into this woman if she calls you. There just desperate for money.

Just got the same call but it was all from a machine recording and  I was told you dont get warned bout a summons it just happens

Just got the same call from a 4012333254 number saying the same exact thing.... I was told if u was gonna get summons they dont tell u that u r it just happens.

Just  a note - I received a call from this number - when I answered, a "trying to sound" official woman basically gave me the same spiel, "docket number, legal action will be taken against me," etc.  When I asked what do I need to do to get this taken care of, she said I could pay the amount owed (never would say who the money was owed to) with a small fee (total of $850).  I then asked her what would happen if I didn't pay, she said a warrant would be sworn out against me and I would go to jail and never see my family again (she actually used those words).  I hesitated for a minute and then asked her "Where?"  She replied, "What do you mean?"  I then asked her, "Where would I go to jail - can I pick the city/state?  I really need a vacation and I would love to go somewhere I've never been before; Hawaii, maybe!"  She didn't say anything and a couple of seconds later I heard a "click" - hopefully she won't be calling back.  I've had other bogus companies call with their spiel before - if you answer with something that throws them off guard, they usually will move on to someone else.  I've used, oh, I'm sorry, that's my sister - she died in a horrible car accident just two days ago, or agree to pay the money and when they ask for a credit card or bank account number, just start with 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 - about the time you get to 7 or 8 they get the idea and hang up.  GOOD LUCK!!!

These jokers called with the wrong name and left an automated message as if I was supposed to call back.  Just blocked the dumb, ignorant scammers..

yes and they said I was being charged with fraud. I asked to see the paperwork and they said I couldn't unless I settled.

Just don't respond. We all have debts,  pay them when you are financially stable.

I have had the same lady call from multiple numbers! It is the same recording.

Same call; same exact message as  the above left on answering machine by some gentleman.  "Your rights will be forfeited once served".  "You have been officially served".  WTH-officially served via voice mail.  LOL   "Rights forfeited".  I thought I lived in the USA and the only way to forfeit my rights is if I choose to do so after being informed of my rights.   IDIOTS.   Just do not answer eventually they will stop calling.   They are looking for info.  If they need you to provide them with address and place of employment, then they are just fishing.  

Oh yea, When I said I would like to see this supposed claim against me, she said. I just told you what it was. I said I need to see it in writing, she said. I will sign off on the case and we will serve you. LOL

The girls name that I spoke with was Myra. I actualy got a message with a number to call. When I called I spoke with MYRA. a company name was never mentioned.

I got that same call from Myra today. Same scenario. 2  charges . Bank fraud and .... breach of contract. I have had the same call in the past. told them that I knew it was a scam. They put me on hold and when she came back she said she would take my name off of the list. I guess they did not.

THEY call every other month... What's sad is the people NOT smart enough to google ther number and see they're a scam. People actually give in and pay!
I did once. It was like $400. They robbed me. Said I would receive a notice in the mail... Receipt. ALL LIES. I wish I knew better at the time!  Sickening.

Received a call from this number 2days ago and then they tried to call from that same number yesterday but I had already blocked it. Not sure how they were able to contact me and leave a message to contact them if I did not want to be servered at my job or home. This time it was a man. They are something else. I thought if you are getting served they don't contact you before hand.

they think we are stupid or something if you are getting a summons they don't announce they are coming, they will show just show up, don't tell them anything, they are nothing more than low life scammers with nothing better to do.
