I got a text frm this number to scam something I am selling on Craigslist . What a flake, they want me to tie them my Paypal acct email.

Same number -- 372-3982 - on my land line caller ID. When I called it back from my cellphone, a recorded message said that it was " 'noting' the number I called from".  Oh no! Now are they going to start calling me on my cellphone??!!

Daily calls later at night (9 p.m.) do not want calls answering machine shows message however it is dead air.  I register our numbers every three months to the National Do Not Call List for a reason.

Alllways having rude people calling me and hanging up!  Then when I call back they don't pick up!  I  need to know the person's name now!    THANK YOU !        DEBBIE

I am glad I came to this site to find who was calling me. This is a form of harassment and I don't wish to be bothered. If the caller makes contact again, I will call the telephone company and begin legal action for harassment.

I don't answer this call because it is unfamiliar, but appears on my caller ID several times per week.

I get these calls almost every day. WE ARE NOT SENIOR CITIZENS. Even if we were, it's like being punished for having a landline in case of emergencies. I am furious.

I just got a call from this # and came straight here to find info. Not only is my phone number not given out and on the do not call list, it's also UNLISTED! Which I pay for! Sad for them because like a previous poster, I'm also in RI. Anyone anywhere can contact the RI Attorney General and file a complaint though. How they got my number and why they'd be calling me I have no idea. But I am ticked! I'm mean and vengeful when someone tramples or even trips over my rights and I have no problem handling this to my satisfaction.

I'm so thankful I came here again. Now I know who and what they are and what at least most of the unknown numbers that have been calling here are! And by the way,  I will NEVER register any of my phones with the do not call list again. That's how the unscrupulous "companies" get your phone number - the government  gives them the list of numbers on the do not call list. Of course they call. Do your own research. It's absolutely true (and may even say it on www.donotcall.gov ? Not sure.)

This is just one of a dozen numbers I am getting calls from over the past few days. Suddenly my cell phone is ringing off the hook with unknown numbers. Is there such a thing as a cell phone virus. It just seems to weird to suddenly be getting so many calls. The prefixes so far are 202, 828, 401, 310, 480, 503, 903, 608, 701, 412, 234. It's driving me CRAZY!

Although these phone calls are a pain, you did the right thing. If it's a robocall, hang up. Don't press "1" or any other number. It is a sure thing you will get more calls. For live persons, the best answer on these calls - "I don't do business over the phone, or at the door. Send it to me in writing at the address you have on file".

The recorded ad always starts "If you are a senior citzen...". The last time it was from West Warwick RI and was 401-262-5030. I always hang up before I hear the company name.

Who is it?

I'm tired of this trash calling and trying to peddle junk I don't want. Luckily, they are from Rhode Island (so am I) and I am going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office after the holiday.
